- Cartographer Quests (keeps track of quests that you get)
- Cartographer QuestObjectives (keeps track of quest objectives).
Install addons like you usually do, by extracting them to: \World of Warcraft\Interface\Addons\
If you want some quest or quest objective notes without finding them by yourself in game, you need to download a database file. Database files are stored in: \World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\[ACCOUNTNAME]\SavedVariables\
Notice that even if you have everything in shape, you may see quest objectives only for active quests depending on your addon settings. You can access these settings in game by pressing [Cartographer] in world map.
I could Kiss you!
Thanks alot mate, this is working like a charm! :D
Just wanted to add my database. It includes almost every outlands alliance quest + the new ones released as of the latest patch (I am scryer, so there are scryer quests in here as well). This is a continuation of a previouslly uploaded file!
any updates to this? i notice that Blizzard changed the spawn locations of some of the monsters like say xx mob that drops yyy is here at 25,45 but now it drops it at 30,20. is it Blue's way of making us work harder now?
Also is there an Add-on that will go and delete the duplicates in the quest objective lua?
I started working on collecting and merging data for the german client. Please send me your german Cartographer_QuestObjectives.lua files. As soon as there is some feedback i'll post an address where you can always get the most recent version.
So help that database grow fast and send me your lua files!
I have downloaded this one and now I start gathering more data. Some days later I will upload the DB so you can put them together. At the moment i make quests in the outlands.
I hope this DB will grow like the englisch version.
Babble-Quest is a Lib that provide translations for quests but unfortunately there are only translations of enUS, zhCN and zhTW. If the Lib provide more languages the DB could be in englisch only. But i think this will take a long time until more languages are supported or will never been happen. :,-(
just wanted to say that this really rox ;P it made me gain hours of game time.
Monany, for your problem im not too sure, the only thing i can think of is maybe you have QuestObjectives badly configured. You can check by opening your map and clicking the Cartographer button then QuestObjectives. Check in there if you have it enabled and if it doesnt show only tracked quests.
Hi,I am new to this and would like to know which ones are the most current versions of quests and questobjectives ? Shall i just download the regular quests release and the questobjectives one for the alliance from the first site of this thread ? Thanks :)
Yes, its a bit confusing i guess. Since it doesnt looks like CMT will live again. You will have to find a file that suits you best. You could first decide if you want english. then get one of the bigger files and here choose the latest. And yes, the ones from the first Post in the CMT thread are a real good start.
As far as i know, you can still use CMT to merge your own files together, it just doesnt saves new data to its repository (thats the problem with the manual part of cfish). So start CMT feed it with all (english) CQ and CQO files you can find, import one by one, and then export your own file.
I hope i could help you, and didnt increase the confusion.
