I updated Cartographer Quests yesterday, Jan 10th, using the WowAce Updater and whatever was in the that release seriously killed my fps causing the screen to "jump" every second or so. For example running forward would be smooth and then there would be a mini freeze and then a "jump" like the screen was trying to catch up. This was almost like a timed event, the "lock-up" would happen at standard intervals of about 1 or 2 seconds.
I tested this later by disabling all my mods and adding them back one by one. I still seem to have a barely perceptible jump, so I am investigating other mods as well, but disabling this one is at least making the game work for me again.
Any idea what could be causing this? Anyone else experiencing this?
Turning on CPU Profiling instructs wow to add a lot of overhead code so that it can tell you how much CPU time each addon's functions are using. This is mainly for developer use, but also for users to detect which addons are eating up CPU time.
The option should never be on unless you are out to debug stuff as the overhead is extremely considerable.

I looked at the last time Cartographer Quests were updated and it says >30 days. So can't be that mod on it's own. It worked fine last week.
Must be something to do with the latest Blizz patch or a change to another mod this one interacts with. Maybe another Cartographer mod?
How can I isolate this? I'm not getting any errors on loading.
