Sporatically working for me. Doesn't throw a lua error that bugsack catches, but if I do a /rl sometimes I can get the instance maps to work sometimes they stop working after a few maps sometimes it doesn't work at all.
I noticed when I was in Scarlett Monastery the instance map did not come up at all is there a way to fix this or is it a bug.
Afaik you'll have to manually choose which map to be shown in SM, this is because there is no way for Cartographer to know which wing of SM you are inside.
I just got this error when trying to view the maps. This help at all?

I Just wanted to say that I'm having the same problems with the instance maps not working. Sometimes they load, sometimes they don't. Sometimes it just shows the skull icons for the bosses and the star for the entrance and nothing else behind it and then clicking on other instance maps does nothing.
Sometimes when opening a map it looks scrambled like this http://img230.imageshack.us/img230/5165/wowscrnshot092807082543wm5.jpg
I get no errors.
Typing /print Cartographer:GetModule("InstanceMaps") gives me
I'll add myself to the list of those for whom this isn't working. I've not tried from inside an instance yet, but sitting in the inn in Area 52, I opened the map and tried to change to an instance map, and none of them seem to be working. Don't know whether I would have found the first one (or more) working if I'd happened to pick a good one.
@ck, i was looking at this the other day regarding the instance maps, all of them from the old world work'ed just fine.. but from ShadowLabs and beyond in outland it simply didn't display. most interesting is that the dewdrop menu didn't put a dot for the map, it was as if it was a ghosted click.
Looking at the code, me thinks that the new world instances are a bigger map than what cartographer's display area allows for.
I addition i just want to say that using Mobmap, which always worked perfectly with Cartographer doesn't work too....all Notes of Mobs that you look for in Mobmap doesn't appear in cartographer anymore.... :-(

Opening map in a instance gives me the map of its parent zone.
And if i try to manually open an instance map nothing at all happens when i click it in the list.
/print Cartographer:GetModule("InstanceMaps").author
that should print something out. if not then try with out the .author at the end, that should give you a whole screen full of crap.

that sounds like a text formating issue from when you installed it.. Try redownloading it.

that means that the module is there - that's good

Here's the Page ob MobMap (kinda online www.thottbot.com) http://www.mobmap.de
It still does not throw any errors that bugsack grabs, but it definately is a useless feature ATM.
Why are we still getting told that there is no issue...every day more people chime in with the same problems...
