I use cartographer mining, but generally prefer not to see the nodes as they clutter my map, so I allow the addon to load but keep it disabled unless I need the information. This morning, I noticed some odd behavior. I un-check "enable" under mining in cartographer, and the nodes disappear as expected. When I open cartographer again a few moments later, the nodes have returned and mining is enabled. I updated the modules from WowAce updater a few minutes ago, but the problem persists. Stranger still, it doesn't re-enable immediately - if I open cartographer again right after I disable mining, it stays gone. It seems to take more than a minute for it to enable again. Is this a bug, or something I'm doing wrong? What can I do to make it work properly? Thanks in advance.
I see this problem as well. I have noticed the same behavior with Herbalism as well.
When you do these mass imports of shared herbalism and mining data into Cartographer, you really end up with a LOT of nodes on your map screen. So its really nice to turn them on/off whenever you are or aren't using it. That's why I wish this feature worked.
One really nice thing I would like, would be the option for Herbalism/Mining to be enabled only when you are 'tracking' them. So when you enable Herbalism tracking, the Cartographer Herbalism is enabled, otherwise its turned off. Same goes for mining. Does this sound like a reasonable request?
