how many days we have to wait to update our files to download here on the forum?
If you use the Curse App (the Curse Client v5 is phased out) look for GatherMate2_Data to be updated about once a week, usually Sundays if history holds true. Although Nevcairiel did update that AddOn earlier today. Don't forget to go into GM2's options and Import.
So, i've successfully merged all the files in this topic. Final file contains around 3.5k nodes for different professions (There are no duplicates, they are all unique).
UPDATE: Updating Addon Structure, will reupload link soon
UPDATE #2: The link is now live. I've merged original addon data, with data provided by the users in this topic. Just unzip this folder into your Interface/Addons directory and then import the data in game as you would normally do.
I've decided to make a website where you can simply upload your GatherMate2.lua and get archive with latest nodes (your data + original data + other users data).

The GatherMate2_Data project on WoWAce also contains all the data (up to the post I made when I made the release) since the new release was made yesterday.
Additionally, since the position is taken from where you stand when you gather the plant, it can be slightly inaccurate - leading to having multiple positions for the same plant which overlap with only minimal differences. These "duplicates but not quite" nodes are purged from the official release because they serve no purpose other then using extra space and memory.
This cleaning is what took most of the effort to get right, just blindly combining the databases was done in a couple minutes. :)

for cleaning it is not enough to just use the maintenance fonction inside gathermate2 ? You you can set the radius to like 5-10 yards and clean the nodes that collapse.
And question, at what inverval to you want our lua file ? Every week is good or ?

I could use the function in GM2, but I wanted something automatic without running the game.
Anyway you don't need to keep posting your file unless you feel like you found a bunch of nodes that were not tracked before. At some point we'll just have most of them.

Cool, thank you Nev for all your time and your great work !

Nevcairiel, here is my latest data. I did not clean it up, having rather you fine tune the data. Included is fish, mines, herbs, and those Suramar crystal nodes. No Archeology yet.
I also uploaded the data to Aftersoft's site for those wanting to go that route.
How do i get this new data that you've aggregated from everyone's exports into my game?
Just install GatherMate2_Data, and use the Import functionality in-game. It contains all data submitted until last week, and a new version with all the new data since then will be available soon, probably tomorrow.

I had also made a site for uploading and compiling data and linked it in the comments on the project site. However, I think I might remove mine since having two would make data fractured. Thanks for your work :)
Idk if this will help, but while wowhead no longer track mining nodes, they still track the mobs that spawn from mining them (Felslate Basilisk) so if you go on the Felslate Basilisk wowhead page you'll find spawn locations for a large amount of mining nodes.

^^ cheers. Not too much, but better than nothing :)
LUA file
This is mostly herbs, as I haven't really been mining yet.
Let me know if the link expires, and I'll get one up again.
Thank you very much for all database. This is one of the best communities of addons and the best data collection in Legion up to now.
Good work, thanks again :)
