Scroll up. ;) You need to put the skins in the skinme directory if you want them skinned. If not, then disable those messages in the options.
Also, you have to do this every time SkinMe gets updated if you use an updater that deletes the old version of SkinMe before installing the new version (which is how it should work because otherwise some files might not get removed that should be). It's a clunky system but it's worth it imo.
