I've noticed that sometimes text in tooltips gets hidden behind the backdrop.
It's really noticeable in the addon Rematch. The right click menus will work for a few times then they will just randomly stop showing text. Advanced Interface Options CVars menu also shows no text unless the backdrop is almost transparent.
Any thoughts on what I can change to fix this? Looked through the LUA but not 100% sure on that.
Another problem I've found is that the buttons in the Char frame are blizz style, though I have another border chosen in the options. Could you please have a look, or add an option for the char frame buttons border selection?
I removed the skinning of buttons that had a blizzard quality border, Char frame, Bags are the two that come to mind. I did this because the button border obscured the quality border which I thought was more important to be seen. I'll have a look at what Masque does and see if I can replicate the way that it manages the borders.
Though each Masque skin looks different, in some the borders look quite discrete, and in some they're almost not seen. I'm sure you'll find the best solution.
This is what Masque's author, StormFX told me:
"The icon "borders" are just textures overlaid. They can't be resized without resizing the icon itself. The colors can already be adjusted as most "borders" are set to allow it. As far as item quality, that's up to the add-on providing the buttons."
Hope that helps...
Maybe you could add some sort of a separate module for buttons like Masque within Skinner. That would be just epic! That way all UI buttons would have one single style, the way user would like.
Wishing you best luck and progress !!!
P.S. The way the buttons look now (in the Spellbook for example) is pretty cool. If you make them look the same for bags and char, but with quality highlights - that would be just uber!
PP.SS. Maybe you could also check such Suites like Aurora UI, which already have bag and char frame coloured borders - that could give you a clue :)

Unfortunately, you've not been so succesfull with the bags - the borders still look simply black :(
And this is how the Bagnon skin looks without Masque :( Please, update it :p
Second. A question. Is it possible to make the skinned frame be transparrent, but not completely to see the environement - I want to see the whole blizzard background like of the Artifact frame or Class Halls Missions frame, but with all the borders and buttons skinned. Is it possible? Do I need to pick some particular background texture, or should I mess with Alpha configuration ? ;o
Which version of Bagnon are you using?, and from which site did you get it? I will look into updating the skin for it.
Not sure what you're asking with the second question, do you mean you want to see the background textures for certain frames?
If you want to make the skin transparent; choose not to use a Background Texture, set the alpha value of the Backdrop Colour to 0 and optionally disable the Gradient Effect.
Welcome, i have a question :) how to remove this belt because i cannot find this in options. I dont use Blizzard UI and this belt look creepy for me
I found this in Skinner options: Skinner> UI Frames> Main Menu Bar> Main Menu Bar Skin (disable this remove this belt) And YES i have Bartender4 but i dont think this belt is from this addon.
Hi, please fix this error with Armory addon.

Hi hammer2,
The buttons aren't skinned as they have quality borders.
I did deactivate Fizzle addon for the char frame, still the borders were blizz style.
By analogy with Masque addon - quality borders in the bags for example don't prevent borders from being skinned.
In addition, I have put Fizzle skin in the SkinMe directory, thought that should cause the borders to be skinned, but no :(
Or do you mean the buttons can't be skinned because of the quality borders? :( Isn't it possible at all?

I did this because the button border obscured the quality border which I thought was more important to be seen. That's just wonderful news!

Welcome, i have a question :) how to remove this belt because i cannot find this in options. I dont use Blizzard UI and this belt look creepy for me
Bagnon: no idea, been using it for ages, updated @CurseClient.
Did you also notice I said that without Masque but skinned via Skinner the bag buttons don't have the quality colouring? The borders are just black.
Question about the background - uploading a screen here:
http://i83.fastpic.ru/big/2016/0928/bb/0219bb573055ab1edafb79286c6edbbb.jpg
Press on the image to increase.
I want to have the default Blizzard Art (on the background), but want Skinner borders and buttons.
Also, please add a Skin for this addon: ls:Toasts
