I'm experiencing skinner becoming a memory hog on casuality. I don't know when exactly it's happening however I guess it's starting during a fight. When triggerd, Skinner uses around 600-700KB/s of memory. Needless to say this results in fps-lags and so on. Can't really tell what's wrong up until now. I have quite a bunch of addons installed so it maybe a bad interaction with an other addon. Might try to isolate the problem. Just wanted you to know atm.

Confirmed Latest version has a massive memory leak.
The high memory usage is due to some inefficient code in the Nameplates skin, just disable Nameplate skinning for the moment or turn off Nameplates in the UI.

I'm working on a fix for it :-)
I was trying to rebuild the moment Skinner starts hogging so much memory and after some fighting it seemed to me this happened while looting. I'm using Xloot. However I'm still not sure. Will try disabling Nameplate skinning for now. Thanks for the advice.

Hi bdahlin78,
This has been fixed in the latest version. You will need to copy the updated AckisRecipeList skin from the AddonSkin folder to the SkinMe folder for it to work.

I don't think its related to xloot in any way, i run it with xloot and haven't seen any hint of these issues.
I do however use Aloft, so my nameplate skinning is of ever since the "overlay" issue.
I'm getting constant errors upon the latest update with Cowtip after the latest update.

since the update of skinner last night my tooltips are kinda messed up. The headline appears to have a white background no matter what making it almost impossible to read some titles such as Herbs and so on.
Small update: after quite a while it appears the tooltips are switching back to normal which did not happen last night. In addition after even more time other tooltips are switching back to normal. EQcompare/tekKompare was having the same problem. When the usual tooltips "recovered" the compare's tooltip did not. Later on even those came back to normal.

Also seeing this with the latest version (and I copied all the new skin files), however my tooltips never recovered like the OP's. They stayed with a white background the whole time.
