Hi,
first off thanks for a great addon.
My problem with skinner is that it doesn't skin the compare tooltips(the blizz standart ones, no equipcompare ...) fully. My Background texture is not show on the compare tooltips, the colors are fine.
My testing revealed that this is caused by having the Cowtip 3.0 Appearance part activated.
While skinner takes over then whole coloring stuff i use the cowtip options to scale the tooltip down and change the font, is there a way to make those things work together, so that my compare tooltips have the background texture ?
Hi AcidStorm,
You should be able to use your background texture by choosing it as the "Background Style" from the CowTip Appearance options screen.
There is a bug with the skin for recount. When you turn off the scrollbars, it pushes the skinned scroll area outside of the recount window, i'll see if I can get a SS later, but for now, i hope my terrible paint skills work.

you killed skinner :(
why using "RequiredDeps" if you are using embedded Libs ( /Skinner/libs/... )?
i dont want to install each lib as seperate addon :(
please revert it to OptionalDeps if there is no GOOD reason for using requireddeps :/
(i asked Cladhaire, the LightHeaded autor, first but he tells me to post it here)
I use doublewide + lightheaded in my UI package and both are skinned properly.
From what I see, the lightheaded is not skinned at all. Make sure you have the lightheaded skin in the "skinme" folder and are using the latest LH + DBW add-on.
Like I said, I have both as well and both are skinned properly for me.
I have had this problem for some time, and Im wondering if there is a fix for it. Doing a search through the boards didnt yield any solutions for me.
I am having a problem with the blizzard raid window when using skinner. The window starts out looking just fine (see below pic 0). When I join a raid however, the class pullout tabs are out of place. (pic 1). Then when I quit the raid, the "raid info" button is out of place. I dont know that I particularly care about the misplaced button after I leave a raid, but the class tabs being screwed up is more of a problem.
Is there a fix for this issue? I dont know that it has worked correctly since blizzard implemented the class count pullout buttons/tabs.
thanks
Hi khariv,
I've just got around to checking this out, sorry it took so long, missed your post when it was posted, only caught it when I was browsing the older posts. :-(
It is all ok for me, buttons are in the right place etc. I can only think that some other addon is conflicting as your second and third screenshot show that the frames aren't being skinned at all.

I dont know if you missed it, but its becoming quite annoying, it happens when I click stuff in chat, as far as I can tell it has do with window resizing, because I can make it happen every time by trying to drag/resize the window when its locked.
Hello, did you get my previous post about the bugged recount skin? Also, the omen skin likes to disappear and become totally transparent besides the text and bars after relog/reload/etc. It also shifts it's position upwards even though that's probably a separate issue with omen itself. Thanks.
As I've been away for a while recently I just thought I'd list the issues/skinning requests that I'm aware of and will be working on.
Issues:
Baggins - use a specified texture for Bank All-In-One
Bank Items - guild bank needs skinning
Examiner - New version, skin requires update
Inspect Frame - buggy?
Gem Helper - New version, skin requires update
Recount - things move when scrollbars are turned off
Recipe Book - New version, skin requires update
Omen - Missing background and movement issues
I don't think it's been mentioned yet, so: The current GroupCalendar skin is reported by Skinner as incompatible with the newer versions available.
Keep forgetting to mention this one: Historian's windows that show up when shift-clicking on the minimap button aren't skinned (don't think they ever were, as they weren't added until sometime well after the skin was requested and available).
Hi AcidStorm,
You should be able to use your background texture by choosing it as the "Background Style" from the CowTip Appearance options screen.
It seems that the Skinner skin for GemHelper is not compatible with GemHelper 1.6, which was released recently for WoW 2.4.
Im having this error:
I use RecipeBook version 2.0.4a (beta).
Fix it when you can please, and thank you for the great work.
I love your addon! :D

Does anyone have an idea why my tooltips sometimes look like this (left one looks as it should)?
I'm using skinner+tinytip (problem comes up with the "old" tinytip as well as with the newest version).
Didn't have this problem a few weeks ago with the same version of tinytip.
The same thing happends with cowtip if you have the tooltip addons own layout active it seems to override skinners settings.
