Sounds like more of an action bar problem than a Skinner one.
Thanks for a reply! This only happens with Skinner enabled is the thing. I can disable Skinner and everything works fine.
Another thing, this happened on initial install of Skinner months ago without any tweaking of settings. I have deleted and updated Skinner multiple times and I'm still having the problem.
A request please, could you see if Fizzwidget Hunter's Helper could be skinned as well? As of 2.4 the addon has a GUI frame for beast's abilities and it seems to be pretty stable so it shouldn't change any time soon. It can be found at http://fizzwidget.com/huntershelper or one of the regular addon repositories.
I keep getting the following error in my chat windows when i go to click item links or open the chat options.
[2008/04/01 21:34:07-401-x1]: Skinner-2.3\UIElements1.lua:207: attempt to index field 'tfade' (a nil value)
(tail call): ?:
<in C code>: in function `FCF_StopResize'
<string>:"*:OnMouseUp":1: in function <[string "*:OnMouseUp"]:1>
Ive tried deleting the skinner folder and its saved variables, and the error is still there when i reinstall the mod.
I've posted this before, in both the pertaining Addon threads, but received no solution and I'm hoping perhaps something can be worked out now.
For some reason, ArkInventory blocks Skinner from reskinning the guild bank. Despite checking and re-checking that the guildbankui skin is enabled (it is, obviously), if ArkInventory is loaded, the skin is blocked and I am left with the default Guild Bank UI. This does not occur with any other frame and I am genuinely at a loss as to the cause. Both mods are up to date and this problem has persisted for months.

Aus, try setting up Skinner to skin ArkInventory. The AI skin file has code to address the issue.
I agree that it's kind of an unfortunate approach because ArkInventory is so configurable now that I wouldn't need to have Skinner skin it if it weren't for this issue.

Thanks again for any help!
Sounds weird then. :x
I think there's an option to enable/disable skinning of the default action bars in there somewhere if you haven't tried it already though, you might need to reload UI after changing it for it to take effect.
I didnt notice that anyone replied to the earlier post about viewport. whenever I alt tab out of the game and come back in my view port is multi colored. the only way to fix is to reloadui. any way of fixing this or is it a known issue?

What I asked was "Do you use the Viewport Overlay ?" but I got no reply. I'm not seeing this issue so it is difficult to fix it but I believe using the overlay may help.
i tried that and it didnt work. i did notice something interesting after i reload ui. i messed with the "vp bottom" and got what u see in the pic. very weird!

Hi,
first off thanks for a great addon.
My problem with skinner is that it doesn't skin the compare tooltips(the blizz standart ones, no equipcompare ...) fully. My Background texture is not show on the compare tooltips, the colors are fine.
My testing revealed that this is caused by having the Cowtip 3.0 Appearance part activated.
While skinner takes over then whole coloring stuff i use the cowtip options to scale the tooltip down and change the font, is there a way to make those things work together, so that my compare tooltips have the background texture ?

Skinner is current rev (about box says 2.3)
Any ideas?
From what I hear, all viewport mods are having this issue and it's a blizzard bug.
Bugfix for Capping issue (reported by yegg)

ahh... well that stinks. I might just disable then in the meantime.
i have another small request :P
Could you please skin TradeJunkie when you have time :)
Thanks a lot.
EDIT: just noticed there's a skin already for this addon doh...:P
i am glad that Skinner is doing fine in 2.4, great work!
I have also a skinning request: LinkWrangler
Would be great to see it skinned.
Kind regards
X-buZZ
My workaround has been to make a panel with kgPanels and place it over the viewport. Works like a charm. :)
