My edit window keeps randomly disappearing and I have no idea why. I can get it to reappear by click on the chat frame, otherwise its invisible and I'm typing blind. Any idea what could be causing this?

Button area still filled with background even when all buttons are disabled. Is it possible to make it work old way ?

Its definately doable since several chat addons does.

Is there any way I can remove the blue pages symbol, that shows chatlog, in the top left of the chat window?



I've had a look and tried disabling modules that sound relevant, but had no result.

Also, the up and down arrows no longer seems to go to the last things I said, they're now bound to forward and backwards.

That blue page symbol is for the copy/paste module. I forget what it's called. CopyChat I think.

Copychat can be moved using most framemovers like visor and simmilar.

Hey everyone,

First of all, thanks for the help. Ill start off by saying I love the chat addon. I formally used chatter and once I installed this I fell in love with it. You have a dedicated user.

My issue I have is with the new chat additions blizzard implemented in this last patch. When I right click a user name to add them to a private whisper box, it gives me these options as follows.

"Whisper
Invite
Ignore
Report Spam
Copy Text
Set Main
Who is?"


Obviously "Create private whisper box"... or whatever the option is called to bring them into a private box isn't there. I would love to have that feature also.




Thanks to anyone that can respond with any helpful advice. Like I said, I appreciate the help. I love the addon, only a few minor changes and everything will be perfect.

I seem to be having a strange issue between prat and skinner. No matter what I do it seems Prat does not save the editbox skin i've chosen for it (i picked skinner one). I tried disabling the skinner skin edit box feature. I tried picking another skin (thin outline), but no matter what whenever i reload ui or log in or out it always resets to the default (chat bubble) skin. Any idea on how to fix this problem? I have used both prat and skinner loyally for years and this is the first time i have come across this issue. Thanks for any help.!

Think its gonna take a while before Jncl catches up with all the updates, and personally id say its better if we users just sit down, take a chill and let the addons complete the updatemadness and go back into somewhat stable releases before hounding poor Jncl for updates and fixes for frankly rather minor cosmetic issues :p

Thanks for answer. Well, think it's easier for me to ignore dark area than lose reminder :) I can wait for better solution.

Couple of using Prat notice that you can no longer scroll previous tells you have sent using the up and down arrow keys with an open edit box. Was this feature disable or changed?

The ability to move the text input marker withing the editbox with arrowkeys is also gone.

Was this featured removed due to changes with the most recent patch? I really liked that feature.

I think it might just be broken due to the chatchanges.
