After reading most of this thread as well as the wiki guide to macros without much success I'm guessing the answer to my question will probably be no. Doesn't hurt to still ask though.
My question is in regards to conditionals. Instead of ALT, or CTRL, or SHIFT, I would like bar 5 to turn into bar 10 when I press ALT+B. If possible I would also like it to act as a toggle so I don't have to continuously hold down ALT+B, though this isn't quite as important. Many of my addons (standard Blizzard keybindings as well) often use one or more of those three modifiers in combination with a key and it's annoying to see my Bartender bars change every time I press one of them. I know it's not the end of the world but it would still be nice have some extra specificity. Thanks all!
I'm customizing my bartender and I have made an additional bar that will only appear while I'm using a vehicle. I'm using the [target=vehicle, exists]show;hide condition to enable it and all is working perfect.
My problem though is that the "vehicle" condition only applies for possessed mobs (like the Wyrmest Skytalon, Corastrasza's quest) and not for vehicle like mounts like the Chopper or the Traveler's Tundra Mammoth.
Question A: What is the equivalent for such mounts (instead of vehicle)
Question B: What is the seperator for this condition? Should it be like:
In regards to my earlier question, I tried the following macro:
/swapactionbar 5 10
Unfortunately that gives me an error that this only works with bars 1 to 6. I'm guessing I was right and that there is no way to make BT4 do what I want. Feel free to correct me if I'm missing something.
There would be ways to do what you want, but its currently not implemented. Sorry.
I see. Are there any plans to implement a more mainstream style of keybinding for conditionals instead of being limited to only one of three keys (ALT/SHIFT/CTRL)? Having my BT bar(s) flash between one and another every time I use some other keybinding (like the Blizzard default for party pet selection, pet attack, and just about any other keybinding you can think of in WoW) gets kind of annoying after a while. That and I'm worried I might accidentally click a wrong button in a heated battle.
Regardless, thanks for the reply. They are greatly appreciated, as is this fantastic addon! Take care! :)
The picture on the left is how I want it to work for all of my characters. The screenshot is from the character I used to set up Bartender4 with initially.
For all my other characters (same account, same realm) it looks like the picture on the right. No matter where I position the bag bar, whenever I open my bags it overlaps with my action bars.
I tried deleting the profiles for these characters and starting from scratch: same issue.
I tried copying/applying the profile from the character where the bags open just fine but it just properly rearranges the action bars leaving me with the same issue: bags still overlap the right action bar.
I am running OS X and Bartender 4.3.0-beta2.
Any ideas of what I might be missing here?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Just a guess:
The bag in the left screenshot is moved to the left because you enabled the first right action bar in the default interface options (but you can't see it because Bartender hides all Blizzard actionbars).
I seem to be having an issue in raids with the vehicle bar. Before I last updated my mods the vehicle bar would automatically take over as action bar 1 when I mounted. Now it doesn't,. The pet bar changes but the numbered primary action bar doesnt change. When I'm ungrouped however it all works fine.
