hello, i downloaded BT4 today and was making 2 profiles for my druid, 1 for resto and 1 for feral, and noticed i couldnt save the profiles, everytime i changed profiles they were messing... is this an issue or maybe a problem from my side?
Hello, I'm wondering if it's possible or will be possible in future to do the following;
I have 2 bars we'll name A and B - I'd like these bars to be able to Shift-Scroll (which I can do now, with paging) but I'd like to be able to remove "pages" from these bars so Bar A would be Page 1 and 2 and Bar B would be Page 5 and 6 if you understand :S So when I Shift-Scroll up or down with my default set up Bar A goes to pages 2 and Bar B goes to Page 6.
Thanks for any help.
Bumping my thread for great justice! and am still looking for a solution. :)

That is currently not possible, but i'll put it on my list for the future!
(Might only make it in after WotlK, i have some new stuff scheduled for then.)

so i tested again today, and it's not saving profiles for the same character, is it just me?

Thanks for the response Nevcairiel most appreciated, it'd be great if it could be done/added then I could make my perfect UI. :)
I just found FlexBar2 and was reading through what it could do. This makes me wonder. Will Bartender ever let me edit a singly button and not an entire bar? I like what it can do now, and I like the ButtonFacade support, but I want to either have a bar that I can make vanish and then buttons show up when something goes on CD, or be able to make single buttons that might do that.
Also does anyone know of a mod that would let me do the first idea with Bartender?
Hey, just coming back to WoW after a couple months break. I updated BT4 today and I was really pleased to see you'd made some additions to its features, particularly the show/hide states. Thanks so much for making this bar mod even better!
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be working as I expected it might after using AutoBar and its great method to hide/show and fade in/out. I had expected my action bars to work like that as well. That is, stay hidden until I mouse over them -OR- I start combat. Now it appears I can have one or the other but not both.
Is there any chance you could take a look at AutoBar's code to see how Toadkiller has implemented show/hide, fade in/out states? I'd really love it if BT4 could act the same way.
Also, question: Is it not possible to hide the pet bar at all? If I choose Show in Combat or Always Hide it displays anyway (whether I'm in combat or not).
I refuse to even think about the AutoBar code *shrug*
Um, okay. :/
Is there another way you could implement that then? If I have Show in Combat selected the bar stays hidden when not in combat. Good. I thought if I then checked the FadeOut option, I'd be able to mouseover the bar and have it appear even if I was NOT in combat (this is the way AutoBar works: hidden until I mouseover the bar or I go into combat). Unfortunately, I find that that is not the case with BT4. Bad.
Is there anyway you could allow these two options to work at the same time? To be fair, when I asked for the feature some months back, this is how I envisioned it would work. Bar appears when I mouseover it or I go in combat. Actually, if the fade out option would just fade in when I entered combat, that would work, too. Right now, I'm stuck with either no bars until I go into combat. Or no bars until I mouseover them. I don't use the mouse for buttons during combat (but would like to see the bar then) but would use it outside of combat to move/check buttons, etc. (but would want to hide them again when I was done).

so no one has the same problem? does BT4 saves multiple profiles for the same char?

Removes the skinning on the original UI correctly, otherwise no visual changes and no options available.
i posted this in the wrong forums earlier hope i can get some help here...
been using this for a while now and really like it, it's smooth and bt only seems to get better with time. However, this version doesn't seem to work with OmniCC. Is there any way that it can be enabled with ease? basically i can't tell the amount left before certain actions are available or long cd's, essentially what omni is for. is there something i'm missing?
This is going to sound somewhat weird, but at the moment, the default maximum scale for each action bar is 2.0 correct? Is there any way I can make them BIGGER? I'm assuming a lua edit is in order, but not sure where to go.

as it is now it "popps" in/out instead of fading and its kinda distracting...

The addon does not default to the default profile.
It also is creating excess profiles every time I log in a different character.
It's an Ace3 convention to default to the character-specific profile, it's not BT4's fault.
Personally I use class-based profiles for BT4.
