The user should not be changing the profile from one add-on via another. In other words, one add-on should not offer the option of setting the profile for another add-on.
I'm updating PhanxBuffs for the Masque API, and I'm running into a problem. Masque seems to hijack my button textures, so that they are no longer parented/anchored the way I created them, and I cannot visibly resize the buttons using simple :SetWidth/:SetHeight calls on the button. I vaguely remember having this problem when I originally implemented ButtonFacade support, but I don't remember how I solved it. Thoughts?
Sorry about the delay. Call the :ReSkin() method on the group after changing the size of the buttons.
Edit: In regards to parenting, the only textures that are re-parented are the Icon and Backdrop layers. This is done so that the Cooldown frame can be above the Icon but below the 'Normal' texture.
Any plans on adding FontFlag as an option where fonts can be specified in skins? I'm using a pixel font for my hotkeys and would like to be able to give them "OUTLINEMONOCHROME" without needing to modify Masque itself.
Please tag a new release version and post it on WoWInterface unless there is some glaring instability that needs to be resolved first (I haven't noticed any). The last release version on WoWI does not include the :Register API for registering callbacks, which causes errors because PhanxBuffs needs to use this API to fix some things after the skin is changed. Also, I didn't realize this API was only present in the latest alpha when I updated PhanxBuffs for Masque. :p
im obviously doing something wrong, can someone educate me?
im running dominos and have gone through all of the interface options on both dominos and masque and have yet been able to find an option to turn off that backdrop on the rest of my actionbars.
i hope the information i have given is workable.
i would like the rest of my actionbars to match the ones without a backdrop.
I've been away from WOW for a while so I'm starting my mods again from scratch. The first set I've installed into /interface/addons is masque 4.3.378 with its button facade and a skin called masque trinity. Trying to get round buttons.
At log-in, I activate those 3 folders (only ones in the interface/addons folder) and check load out of date folders.
Then, in the game, I go to interface/addons, then select preload options/minmap button.
Then I go to addons/skins and pick trinity round. I select enable backdrop settings and font settings just b/c I'm not sure what else to do.
The buttons never switch to round.
Obviously I'm missing something, but I sure can't tell what.
edit: so it should be something like masque:SetProfile(name);
but alas im stumped
I am posting because I was wondering if there is a way I can use Masque to skin my Totem bar?
I use Bartender4 and everything within it works great with Masque except the totem bar.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thank you!
(a) an action bar addon that supports Masque, such as Bartender4, Dominos, or Macaroon; or
(b) BlizzFacade to apply Masque skins to the Blizzard default action bars, although this is fairly outdated and may not work correctly with Masque.
