I saw in the latest update that something was added so we can view how we died. Is that true? I tried charging at mobs and died but didn't see any death count.
I deleted the folder, downloaded a fresh copy. Reloaded my game, still nothing.
I'm curious how accurate/active lazysync is. I haven't done any extensive testing so this may be a non-issue but on Kalecgos I keep seeing numbers for other people being significantly lower than I would expect. I'll have to get some recount comparisons from people in different groups (so that we're not both on demon or dragon phase all the time). Just wanted to see if anyone else noticed this.
Also, I know in the past combat log range was an issue (it used to default at like 40 and could be extended to 200). Does recount automatically extend combat log range or does this not even matter anymore?
Lazysync is only accurate for people with Recount installed, because all it transmits is your own stats (i.e the healing/damage you did, and nobody else). The combatlog only shows people in your realm (whichever realm you happen to be in, demon or dragon realm) for damage, but healing done shows up for both realms.
My friend just sent me the following error through msn, might not be complete error:

@Skylinee: Tested today in early BT with both expo and performancefu running. Peak KiB/s was 80, with typical combat KiB/s at 20-50. This is for all addons I have installed (grid, dbm, recount, recountthreat etc) not just recount or ace3. Ace3 did not show any significant KiB/s. Expo shows that, as I know, the only used ace3 function creating any memory is ScheduleTimer and the overall accumulation for the night was 700KiB for that function (that's for 3 1/2 hours of raiding). Recount is the prime contributor to KiB/s during combat but that's it's job. Numbers are not excessive and I have not seen 100KiB/s or more for anything even when we pulled two mob heavy trash packs with loads of associated combat log events (as said peak was 80).
I can imagine that if a soul charge wipes the raid at Archimonde and all death events come in in very short period of time that you can crack 80KiB/s briefly but that's an anomaly and not typical.
Maybe another addon is responsible for the ace3 KiB/s?
Hmm, i'm gonna have to keep trying to find out what's causing it then. It's very weird, because whenever i'm running Recount, aX_RaidstatusConfig (the first addon to load Ace3) keeps building up memory when i'm in combat. If it's on 1 target like Archimonde, the usage is way lower than what i get on heavy aoe packs for example in BT where i first experienced this. Are you running disembedded? I'm running embedded atm, so if everything fails i'll try to reinstall addons disembedded.
I run embedded but have a disembedded copy of ace3 installed too. Embed or disembed shouldn't make a difference unless for odd reasons an older release of ace3 is embedded with ax_raidstatusconfig.
Any way to have it save more than 5 entries on the "Fight" list? I have it set to "keep boss segments only", but after a Kara run I like to look back over all the fights.
I just deleted my Recount savedvariables and disembedded my addons directory, then went to AV for a few tests. So far everything's fine, Ace3 isn't using much memory, gonna test more in the raid tonight though.
1 request: Please make Recount ignore damage from Vengeful Spirit on the Teron Gorefiend fight, i know Violation handles this well, it adds all spirits as a separate combatant.
Spirits are separate combatants, deselect merge pets and you will see them. You can manually delete them too if you don't want them to show after the fight by right-clicking on the bar and selecting "Delete Combatant".
One thing I don't like though is how Threat-2.0 doesn't seem to get loaded by RecountThreat. To get RecountThreat to recognize the lib, I had to load Omen2 too.
*sad panda*
I'm having this problem too, does anyone have another workaround? I don't use Omen..
RecountThread did receive a change that was meant to fix this, are you using the latest version? If the problem still persists are you using embedded or disembedded libs?
I am using disembedded for all mods, and the latest version, and RecountThreat keeps saying Threat isn't loaded:
RecountThreat\Threat_mode.lua:14: Cannot find a library instance of "Threat-2.0".
Ace2\AceLibrary\AceLibrary.lua:49: in function `LibStub'
RecountThreat\Threat_mode.lua:14: in main chunk
Edit: I fixed it by adding Threat-2.0 to OptionalDeps

Sweetness, will look at it after ?ZA
i have no idea about lua coding, else i would try to do this by myself.
Turn on the totals bar.
