Sorry for the leftover debug message and thanks for the fix.
@brybry: Not currently in there I'll look to add total amount reporting as soon as I find time.
I'm looking to do a performance improvement pass. Already some have happened specifically to idle CPU usage and memory-related accumulation and performance in combat. Now I hope to look at CPU usage in combat and look for any good data to help that.
Specifically I look for data from people who run optionhouse, performancefu or eval with cpu profiling enabled and let me know what the results are under what conditions. I'm especially interested in peak-degradation conditions, that is moments when the performance on your system is especially bad, and data that documents it. If you can let me know what system you are using so I get a rough idea how to compare your numbers to mine (I run a middle of the road system, nothing fancy). Note that other addons may actually be responsible for performance degradation, like addons that cause peak addon channel traffic etc. So if you can also report addonspamfu data, that be helpful and a rough description which combat log related addons you are using (like Omen).
@Matrix: Thanks. That narrowed it down to two possible spots, and one likely one, but I still cannot reproduce the problem. Can you let me know if the last commit fixes the problem? Should be on WAU in 20 mins or so.
Also added that reporting will include the total line if it's enabled.
This is intended. DPS that is proportional to damage done is a rather pointless stat, just look at damage done and you get the information you want. By using individual combat time recount's DPS carries extra information. If someone has high total damage but low DPS they are in combat longer with lower DPS. If someone has low total damage with high DPS they have been idling more than others but crank out more DPS when they are active.
This is great. I am however hopeful that Recount will cut DPS time short the moment you die (when death messages are fixed in the combat log in 2.4.2), because if you have a dot still ticking on the boss after you die your dps currently lowers dramatically. (I've noticed as much as a 200dps decrease from the moment you die to the moment the dot runs out).
