I added Recount keybindings for show/hide/toggle main window. You'll find it in the default keybinding window under Recount.
As for DPS the only thing I changed is that SPELL_CAST_SUCCESS don't get registered as DPS events without damage. This may have been the issue but I'm not sure, I never say any problem so I couldn't tell things were broken.
There are still a few issues I'm aware of:
*) Lazy sync needs loads of testing and feedback
*) Still seems to be issues with fight list selector
*) Drpdown menus can open outside the visible area
I hope to find clues for 2) pretty soon and get loads of good feedback on 1). 3) should be done when I get around to not trying to hunt down 2).
*) Death display is a blizzard bug.
Any other current issues people are aware of for the latest recount revision?
Not sure if you're aware of this problem (or if it's a priority) but in 2.4, I'm noticing that the Recount window no longer hides when I enter combat. I used this feature a lot, placing the recount window in a position where it could be replaced by Omen when I entered combat. Now the bars overlap, Omen is impossible to see, unless I move the Recount window which screws up my UI layout. ;)

I am having the same problem as some of the posters here. I cannot get previous fights to show up. All it shows is current and overall. I also tried deleting all instances of recount in my wtf folder, but it still does not work.
I use alpha to fade out less important elements of the UI (50% for informational elements, 30% for trivial elements and 100% for vital elements) and would like to have the bars (and actually all of recount) at 50% alpha.
Also any way to turn of "tabs" that are not interesting so i don't have to go through all those pages to find the info i care about (heal/oh, dispell, manaregen, damage/dps and deaths and CC breaking) ?
And on that note, any way to change the order of the categorys to make it faster to swap between the most vital ones?
@Zek: Thanks added a safeguard for that error.
@kennyr: Still trying to find a way to reproduce the problem. Works fine on my end. If you don't have the latest version try get it and let me know if the problem persits.
@kerecha: Currently there is no alpha setting for bars. As for tab navigation there are multiple ways to navigate modes, one is paging, but you can also use the dropdown menu and navigate to the mode you want directly and mode selection allows key bindings, so you can jump to the mode quickly that way.
This mod is great i just switched to it with the 2.4 patch because i was getting tired of damageMeters never getting updated with i ran WAU ><. and the fact that it was always having frame boundary issues of late.
I just wanted to ask if you could look into a profile loading/saving option that would let me load layout and all the config settings from another character, its something i love about a lot of the ace2 mods. you see, i suffer severely from alt-itis and having to manually reconfigure all the settings on all 14 characters is a major pain.
Alternatively if you could tell me what file and where it is that the config data is saved, i would not be adverse to doing it manually, at least until you have all the important stuff out of the way and can look into it ;)
Profile handling exists. Try /recount profile or for the ace3 gui /recount gui. I apologize for the ace3 gui layout. I haven't had time to prettify it. You'll find a profile tab with standard ace3 profile handling.
I looked all through the config menu and didnt see anything that looked like proflie loading but maybe i missed it somehow, and i would test it now but im afraid that if i log back into wow i will get caught up in config and not get any sleep. i have already spent the last hour searching wowace for updates ><. ill look into it tomorrow. thanks for the timely response.
I apologize if this has been posted before, I haven't read the thread. I've been having a problem with getting graphs. Realtime graphs seem to be working, but graphs for stored data seem borked. I updated all my mods tonight via the Updater, logged in, was able to see the graphs working once, but after a data reset I haven't seen'm work. The graph area is empty, as is the fight list area. When I click in the graph area, as if zooming in, this is the bug report I've been getting:
Sure thing. It's not in the normal config window of recount. I decided it's fine to have it commandline/ace3config only as people usually only rare (like once) touch profiles so that really doesn't need to be in the normal config window.
Let me know if you find issues, the port to ace3 is fairly fresh so I'm definitely looking for input how it goes when used a lot.
@zgamer: To use time graphs you have to make sure to collect time data for the unit type you want to see. Go into the config window and check filter settings if its set to what you want. Thanks for the bug report, I'll try fix it.
Just checked and tested, I've got the options in the config window for Show, Record Data, Record Time Data, and Record Deaths checked for Self and Groups and the graph for my solo damage isn't coming up.
Thanks for all your effort on the upkeep of this mod, absolutely spectacular!
