Recount has an option to Record Buffs/Debuffs, but if I enable it, it doesn't stay enabled... and also I don't see any way to report on it. Is this for future use?
It would be so nice to be able to track buff uptime (what % of the time procs are up)...
When fighting Tidewalker for the first time on Monday, this came up suddenly during the fight (using r49234 on deDE-client):
Not a big thing for me, as it never came back again during that fight. Just wanted to mention it.
Just another quick question: Why doesn't "Recount" save its size/position (as "Omen" for example does) when you disable it and then load it again? I usually only have it enabled when raiding, and it sucks a bit if I have to resize/reposition it every time before a raid.
The above Is the same set of errors me and my guild were getting. My initial guess is because its only affecting some of the people in our raid is some kind of version conflict because we are not all running the same version. Any help would be appreciated,
is there option to see total dps for whole raid?
if there isnt can some of coders change it so its shown?i hope it would take much of effort to do it simnce recount already does dps for each memeber of raid
I just got Recount yesterday, got to say I'm pretty impressed with all the stuff it can do. But I was testing it in AV today and noticed couple weird things.
First, people would show up on damage done meter nicely, but without the abilities breakdown (basically only the total damage and nothing else). How can that happen, since I believe Recount is adding values to total damage based on combat log messages that must contain the name of the ability?
Second, sometimes people would barely show up in damage done meter at all. Maybe only like 4-5 people for the whole 40 man, and I was sticking with the raid for the whole time. So I tried lowering the combat log range to 120 yards and it seemed to help. So I guess 40 vs 40 vs NPCs AV match produces too many messages on the max range and it throttles somehow?
And third, my damage at the end of AV in the PvP scoreboard would always be just a little bit lower than what Recount was showing (1-2k). So who's wrong, Blizzard or Recount? :-)
I just downloaded this mod and I have to say I'm pretty impressed. But I've noticed that so far, even though I've asked the mod to merge my pet's dps to my warlocks, it won't. Is this a known bug or am I doing something wrong?
Has anyone else had problems with not being able to send reports to channels now?
The only thing we have been able to send reports to is whisper, say, raid and party..

This doesn't comme from Recount.
Blizzard put an anti-spam filter which blocks message with more than 2 lines on the channels.
My raid and I had non stop sync error message yesterday, is the problem identified ?

How is it not Recount since this is the only thing we use to do any reports. It might not be something recount alone suffers from (according to others saying that 2 lines is spam now) but recount and any other mod that does output should be updated to account for the new spamming function correct?
Or is recount being updated anymore?
Nope, it's dead. Also, I've had reporting problems for months so for me it wasn't a throttling issue. Now it generates tons of sync traffic so I've stopped using in-game damage meters altogether.
The lastest version has a sync toggle I think (haven't checked in game, but changelog says so). Still recount does throw an occasional error, but works reasonably well for me. It really just needs some polish to be in very good shape it seems to me.
Recount just needs someone to pick it up, like people picked up Gello's recap back when. Or Cryect to come back, either way.

We have no idea about the changes made in every new version ?

Does Recount got any syncing options? Which addons does it sync with? How can I see which people in the raid it syncs with?
