Alpha version r1229 now contains the 1) option for DPS format shortening, per popular vote. If a number format is selected it will now also be applied to per-sec numbers such as DPS or HPS. Once I get some feedback that there is no problem (or with patch 5.2, if it comes first) I'll tag this release.
Thanks for the heads up there. Not quite sure what is going on, but a few of the used libraries had mismatched UUIDs in my SVN checkout. Not sure if that messed up the packages. Let's see. I tagged another release after a little voodoo dance.
Been noticing that Recount does not track the skirmishes you have in Halfhill when virmen and the like invade your garden. Any idea why?
Also when I am out doing the Halfhill dailies, Recount is reporting my dps to be a small fraction of what it truly is. I have to reset it and get through a couple fights before it reports believably again. Any thoughts?
I had a a few questions that I hope you won't mind.
First I was wondering if you had any plans to improve the "uptime" module. Right now it just records the total number of ticks, so for example if a class had two dots and maintained perfect uptime on both, Recount would display a 50% uptime on each one, which makes little sense. If you don't plan to correct this, would it be better just to remove the module entirely so that it is not wasting any cpu/memory? I am hard pressed to understand how the information currently provided would be meaningful to anyone.
Second, is there a reference you could point me to that would help explain some of the data collection options to me? In particular, I was just curious what collecting "time" data actually enables/disables.
Third, are there currently options (or addons) to see damage taken by target, either friendly or hostile?
Thank you for all the time you put in on behalf of the community. :)
Could you raise the strata of the reset confirmation dialog? Most normal frames seem to block it.
Also, I find that the position and size of the main frame does not properly apply. Supposedly due to them being stored in layout-cache.txt, overriding the profile settings. Recount_MainWindow:SetDontSavePosition(true) should prevent the properties from being stored in layout-cache.
Do you have a recommendation for what strata it should be on? It will be higher than Recount when opened and I don't really have a sensible way of knowing where other addons choose to place their frames. In my UI the config window virtually never comes up occluded by other frames, so I don't really have a gauge to judge the issue.
I have a simple question, which was surely answered before - however you may forgive me, that I did not want to read all 414 pages of this giant thread (search function was absolutely not helpful, bad luck to me).
My question is: How to post a Recount into the Battle.Net-Whisper ?
