In this part both the overhealing or the actual healing occurring after it has died is attributed to a non-trivial mob simply named Bloodworm. This is not an isolated lag instance (at least I don't believe so) as it as happened many times both solo and in raids.
I'll try and grab a parse of when it works correctly and edit it into this post.
I still haven't gotten any reports how to reproduce and it works fine for me, so I have no way of fixing the problem.
My guess is that some crucial pet summoning combat log events are no longer consistently reported since 4.0.1 but I have no actual evidence. Recount's code did not change at all re pets, so something must have changed combat-log side.
I would suspect more that it has to do with the way call pet has been changed to allow calling 4 different ones now instead of just the one. That is the biggest change that has been made to pets.
Blood worms seem to always be attributed to me now, thanks for the fix.
Two other bugs, one I reported before is that guessed absorbs do not get properly added into healing done when the option is checked (They are added to the total but not the detail so it doesnt add up) due to lack of
if Recount.db.profile.MergeAbsorbs then -- Elsia: This cannot be unsplit, but it saves memory.
at line 458 in Recount:AddGuessedAbsorbData
Second pet overheals are not added into overhealing data the data is there its just not merged into player data when pet data is merged (It shows up just fine when pets aren't merged) though this may be a design decision I'm not really sure not a huge issue either way.
P.S Sorry if I'm being a bother with all these reports :P
Thanks. The first I have added, well spotted. The second I don't intend to add. Currently on damage and healing are merged, and I don't intend to merge other stats, for a range of reasons, so this is indeed a design decision (among other things).
The problem with Hunter pets not being assigned to the Hunter seems to be fixed. However, the issue with a mouseover of the Hunter's name when damage is merged will sometimes not show the pet's contributions if a new pet has been brought out. It will still show the first one's name with no damage done.
Heya, got a shadow apparition issue. I can see my own apparitions if I disable pet merging. But the apparitions of my shadow buddy in my raid aren't shown in my recount. His shadowfiend is shown as usual.
anyone else able to confirm this?
Was something changed to illuminated healing?
I'm the author of tinydps; previous release of recount showed the same illuminated healing amount, now it shows ~4 times the amount my addon does.
I'm testing in a ICC25 now. Our paladins show over 1,000,000 illuminated heals; my addon gives about 300,000.
edit: on lich king to be more precise
Hey. I'm the author of the very unknown damage meter addon numeration and i watched over your code to figure out why that could possibly happen.
turns out you are only counting absorbs on SPELL_AURA_REFRESH, but you should also count it on SPELL_AURA_REMOVED (you are only removing the tracking data on this event). Actually, this was recently fixed in recount and that is probably why it matched the data from tinydps before.
It's bloated for my purpose and does less for the things that I currently already do. In short it would not add anything but unused code at the moment. This is simply a function of it being made for other purposes.
