@Mikari: Hmm I thought that problem was addressed. I'd need to have a flame leviathan combat log to see if there is something weird going on with vehicles there.
The problem only occurs if you have pets merged with owners, if they are unmerged all the vehicles are shown.
One of my guildmates had a look at his recount lately and told me that sacred shield (paladin.spell) showed up as healing not only on world-of-logs but in his recount as well.
According to the tooltip (http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=53601)
How do you handle this spell? I think "absorbing" shouldn be showing up for heal, as ive read the last few pages.
The absorb module handles this one. So if it does show under absorb that would be correct and intended.
As for healing, I try to avoid adding any specific handling for any spell if at all possible. So if indeed sacred shield does show as healing there must be a combat log event associated with it that reports it has heal. To track this down, I'd need a screenshot of showing it as heal, and an associated combat log.

Can you send me a combat log? Looks like there is a difficulty linking the vehicle GUID to the owner. Frankly for multi-people vehicles I'm not even sure it's possible to make a proper attribution.
@glithramir: Death recording can already be disabled via filter. I don't really intend to offer options to disable modules. Either you want them or not, deleting them is the slimmest solution to achieve it.
Was thinking about the extra addon "RecountDeathTrack" Is that built in now?
And every time I update/download Recount(a few times/week) I have to manually go in the Recount directory and edit the filenames of the modules... not very fun imho.
A small option tickbox for the modules enable/disable would be nicer.
GuessedAbsorbs is as good as it gets unfortunately for now. But it isn't so bad. Overall it got sensibly good reviews from the community about its practical accuracy. It's not 100%, but it's very usable.
Still looking for feedback. Anybody tried if they now see damage from both spirit wolves and balance trents when observing a shaman or druid?
I play an enhancement shaman. I'll give your alpha a try tonight and see how it's working in my 10 man. I've honestly not looked at recount's breakdown for wolves lately. What kind of display should we be looking for and/or what did the 'broken' display look like? Will help me know what specifically you tried to fix when I report back later. Is there something you'd want a screenshot of?
There used to be a discrepancy between what the shaman saw and other party members saw. Party members would only see damage of 1 spirit wolf, or 1 treant. So ideally someone who sees the shaman installs the beta and checks if the damage recorded for the wolves/treants matches that of the shaman/druid.
I will be doing Coliseum and Ulduar 25 tomorrow, so we'll see how it goes. Unfortunately, since I play a balance Druid myself, I'm always able to see my treant damage correctly merged, but the same cannot be said for our enhancement shaman's wolves (at least until last Wednesday's clear), since I used to be able to see his pets, as a separate combatant.

Hm.. so that would explain the big dicrepancy in numbers between my enhance shaman and a guildie's moonkin druid numbers between our reports from a recent H-HoL run. I'm not usually one to mess with alphas, but will mention the possible fix in guild and maybe get a couple more bodies (including myself) to run some further comparisons with the alpha. For that run in question, there was around a 600dps difference in the report for her moonkin for the fight vs. what my list showed. It will be interesting to see how much closer this brings the 2 reports.
No. "Dispel" is a real word, despite how commonly it's misspelled with a second L. Go look it up in a dictionary. And, if you actually think about the meaning of the word, it has nothing to do with spells or spelling. You can dispel a fog, or a myth, or any number of things that aren't magical effects in a computer game. :p

I know it's already been mentioned, but more people wanting it may increase the chance of it happening... or so I can hope.
