hello first off let me say thanks for nice castbar addon, recently switched over from quartz and im liking it.
2 issues i have with it: the Target bar ignores settings (show/hide icon, icon orientation left-right)
also im using somewhat bigger target bar (250x40) and when the cast is uninterruptible the border becomes ugly and big (roughly 10pixels) is there any way to disable this / make it smaller wirthout making the actual bar smaller? i know i can disable the shield icon but that still leaves the appalingly ugly border around
Thanks for reporting the issues with the target bar, i'll look into it. I'm currently tweaking the shield stuff to make it look better, and i do realize that it becomes pretty big when the bar has a great height. However, if you disable the shield (not the icon), it's not just the icon that is disabled, the entire shield should disappear and the uninterruptibility should be expressed only through the color of the bar (it will be grey).
Just did some testing and show/hide icon works fine on all bars (it's the same code for all bars). icon alignment works too. However, by design, if the shield is shown, the icon will be inside the shield. It would look silly if the shield would just have a square hole in it and the icon would be dangling alone on the right. I'm currently working on separating the two parts of the shield texture, and that could also include the ability to move the entire shield to the right side when the icon is on that side.
i understand now, the icon placement issue is only cosmetic anyway:)
would it perhaps be possible to have option to mark non-interruptible casts with definable color border instead of the blizz deafult shield thing? as it is now im having trouble fitting it in my ui
what i had in mind was just changing the color of the 1px border around bar which is white in my screenshot. if thats in ToDo list thats only great and i cant wait till its released :)
The border already has a color option. It's called "Border Color" in the options, and includes an alpha slider.
I believe what he meant was having an option to change the border color instead of having the shield show. Which would actually be a nice option/alternative.
Ive been using castbars pretty much since it came out, with a couple caveats, one of which is hitting me now. Is there a way to blacklist spells? I need to remove 1 or 2 specific spells from the target cast bar. In the past, I would use deadened, but it doesnt seem to work with castbars.
Is there a reason the shield graphic doesn't go away when spells become interruptable?
For example on the Ascendant Council, when Ignacious' puts up his Aegis of Flame and channels Rising Flames it is uninterruptable until the Aegis goes down. However, I don't believe the shield graphic ever goes away.
I recently got my internet fixed (new modem), dropping my latency from 300+ms to sub 100ms (yey!). Thus, i shifted the Blizzard latency tolerance to 100. However, I see castbars filling the last 400 (blizzard default) with red. Any idea whats going on?

The custom latency tolerance has nothing to do with the latency display. In fact it has little to do with latency, despite the name.

All the handling is there (and in fact handled by Blizzard code mostly), so i'm not sure. I wish someone else could confirm this, i'm not currently in a position to test it.

No current plans, but you're welcome to post a ticket with this feature request.
I'll test the shield thing again tomorrow, but I'm pretty sure it was not working correctly when I was looking at it on the dwarven council (Spirit of Ironstar) right before Atramedes where he uses Shield of Light (prevents interrupt) along with Execution Sentence (needs to be interrupted).
Try to enable the blizzard target casting bar on the target frame and compare with that. Anything that doesn't work on the standard Blizzard target casting bar doesn't work here either.

IMHO it should be two different preferences for interruptible and not interruptible spell.
(color, size, border etc etc)
I filled a ticket for the color btw.

It doesn't say it's an 'out of date' addon and I have 'load out of date addon' checked anyway.
Anyone's facing the same problem?
