Is the display of incorect materials after they changed them caused by Skillet?
hmm.... yeah, probably. that's no good. i'm kind of surprised it's still recording that data, but i guess that's why i sorta dropped the project. so much of the stuff i added to skillet was to record recipe and skill info so you could view alt's information since a toon without having access to the api for unknown trade skills. now that they added trade links, there are no more unknown trade skills so all that work was pointless.
anyway, you could go into your save vars file and delete the recipelist or even just delete the whole file if that doesn't work.

Okay, ill try that would hate to loose all those lill extras from your version over the "original".
Edit_ that seems it was a bad idea :(
Now i can't do anything cos its not scanning my tradeskills, i just get empty windows with skill 0/0.

there's a known error related to not having any saved vars, just do a reload and it should be okay. i failed to initialize a table properly. those other errors are probably due to skillet not initializing because of the first error. i hope.

great. i know things were left a little messy with my branch of skillet. it seemed like it would better to just rewrite things than try to chase things down...

it's probably an issue of not having the data in your local cache. if the skill icon in skillet is red that means it's still collecting data. still.
you can disable skillet by holding shift when you select a tradeskill. do that for each of your skills to make sure they all get cached, then skillet will probably run fine. optionally, you could just wait for skillet to do it, but it sounds like maybe it's a bit over-aggressive in its attempt to get the data.
It never finished caching
(I actually watched The Untouchables, came back and it was still going)
re-logging and Shift-Clicking gave me these:

and no recipes in the regular profession-frames either.
Are there any other addons known to mess with your branch of skillet?
All my trade-related addons had no problem with the regular Skillet other than the odd opening of the regular trade-window or having big gaps in the listings on rare occasions.
the way things work with addons, the first error is really the only reliable one. the others might pop because the first bit of code failed. at this point, i'd try turning off lsw and arl just to make sure they're not the issue (the latest lsw is alpha so it's got some bugs still).
Skillet LSB alone: No problems
Skillet LSB and LSW: Does not sort by LSW's criteria.
Skillet LSB, LSW and ARL: As before, no recipes etc.
Never had any use for ARL anyways, so getting rid of that.
i just updated my skillet clone branch to fix the few little errors i could duplicate -- mainly the nil-on-first-load error and the problem with the "all data" trade buttons.
i also added a feature (that i had hacked into my local version) to add pricing to the shopping list if you happen to have LSW installed.
Getting 2 errors now causing the addon to freeze up and become unusable:

it appears you're using the 153 rev. the latest is 157. that might help. what you're experiencing is most likely an issue with running skillet on an empty cache (new patch = no cache).
i just looked at the 153 revision and i can't figure out what's up cuz those line numbers don't correspond to that variable... can you post a bit of the code around those lines? i'm guessing you probably went in a fixed a couple of things and changed the code a bit so it's hard for me to see what's exactly broken.

Haven't made any custom changes, but it seems the error is gone now anyway. have no idea why/how thou :/

it's probably gone cuz your local cache is now full again. if it's not full, then the tradeskill API will return nil's on occasion which will sometimes cause problems.

When will it be available on the project page?

Thank you so much, now if you would only take over the project:P
hmm.... yeah, probably. that's no good. i'm kind of surprised it's still recording that data, but i guess that's why i sorta dropped the project. so much of the stuff i added to skillet was to record recipe and skill info so you could view alt's information since a toon without having access to the api for unknown trade skills. now that they added trade links, there are no more unknown trade skills so all that work was pointless.
anyway, you could go into your save vars file and delete the recipelist or even just delete the whole file if that doesn't work.
