Another problem with my new Blood Elf Paladin Blacksmith/Miner/Smelter:
When I try to queue Copper Chain Pants or Copper Bracers with only having Copper Ore in the bags, Skillet queues one less Copper Bar smelting then needed. (for Pants 3 bars (4 needed); for Bracers 1 bar (2 needed))
When clicking the Create button to create Pants/Bracers whith one Bar missing the additional required Bar is created, but Pants/Bracers are not queued.
In happens in each play session during the first recipe run. Each time I log in and queue 5 items Skillet creates just 2 items and stops. Subsequent runs are handled properly until relog (or ReloadUI?)
that's weird. no idea why it would do this, unless maybe it's an issue related to the above.
Ok, I've created new character (Paladin Blood Elf - my main and other chars are Aliance) with only few addons enabled... Leveled to level 8 and learned: Fishing, Frist Aid, Cooking, Mining and Blacksmith and a few basic recipes. BUG!: When I opened Skillet for the first time and it was completely empty - clicking Rescan button didn't help. I've tried Reloading UI (using button in ACP) and it didn't help either. I then restarted WoW and this finally brought Skillet to life.
yeah, it's really odd -- sometimes that happens and sometimes it doesn't. i think it might be some multiple events firing and causing confusion in the system. this would explain why sometimes it happens and others it's fine... still working on it... :(
Only 2 items created bug - more info: After logging in I've queued 5 Spiced Breads and went to vendor and bought the needed reagents using Buy reagents button. I opened Skillet and clicked Start. Skillet created 2 Spice Breads and stopped without a reason. Afterwards I closed Skillet and started writing this post. After reopening Skillet I still have remaining 3 Spice Breads queued, but I cannot queue any more Spice Breads - Queue and Create buttons doesn't work (do nothing - not even an error).
I've cleared the queue and Reloaded UI. After the reload I've queued the remaining 3 Spice Breads again and tried clicking Start button but only 2 were created and 1 still remains in queue. I've gained skill level on each recipe run (from 1 to 5 now) This is 100% reproducible bug for me.
hmm... does it sort itself out after a reload? there still seem to be a few issues with first uses causing some errors.
It does seem to have sorted itself out after relogging.
However, today when I tried to create an enchant (if it matters, Enchant Chest - Restore Mana Prime) both after playing a while and first thing after a relog I got this message:
This is a small annoyance, but it's still there. Whenever I press the 'create all' it queues up all the items it could make from my inventory and bank. But I only want it to create all the items it can from my inventory. Is there a way you could please exclude the bank from what the 'create all' thinks is there to create.

yes, this will be the new behavior of the create/queue all button.
This broke Skillet to the point ReloadUI was needed... ... but ReloadUI didn't help either nor restarting the game... ...only removing the Skillet's saved variables resolved the problem :(

so you learned a new recipe with the skillet window closed, then opened it and it barfed? or did it barf right when you learned the new recipe (without opening the skillet window)?
i can see how a reload wouldn't help as it probably corrupted your database since it died in the scan process. currently, if you click the rescan button, it doesn't do a whole lot because there's an implied rescan with every update of the window (the rescan is pretty passive). if you shift-click, it'll completely obliterate your entire database (alts included). i think i'll change this behavior so that shift-click will totally obliterate all your data, but a normal click will purge the current toon's (or perhaps just the current tradeskill's) data. this would make more sense functionally and would hopefully allow recovery from corrupted database errors like the above without having to remove the sv file.

have you made em before or is this an automatic error? also, lsw *might* work for the most part, but it's probably best to not use it (particularly bad when viewing alts). i don't think this particular error is lsw related, tho...
Error came up when I tried to make the bags, never seen it before and I have no idea what you mean about viewing alts.
lemme know if it repeats. there's still a lot of little quirky things popping up at semi-random. i'm still making some fundamental changes to the internals, so i'll need to polish off the edges once that's complete.
by viewing alts, i mean if you click on your toon's name in the skillet frame, you can select a different toon to view (assuming you've used skillet with them).
One little thing I noticed as an engineer making ammo... It seems to confuse the count. One batch of shot is of 200 count. When I queued 4, Skillet started making 800 batches of shot each of which was 200...

there are some inconsistencies still in the understanding of what the craftable count is. the internal system is actually based on the number of items rather than the skill iterations. i believe there are still some cases where these numbers aren't factored properly. but, just to be certain, you're talking about my branch or the trunk skillet?
How do I get WAU to NOT update Skillet? I marked it to be ignored and WAU ignored me and overwrote your Skillet. There have been a couple of updates to the original Skillet over the last week, though I doubt anything earth shattering or by the actual author. So yeah... How do you get WAU to behave and if there is no way, could you please change the name of your addon to LS_Skillet or something like that? It'd greatly help.

if you're using WAU, i think you can force it to skip a mod by making a ".svn" directory in the addon folder. that'll make it think the addon is being maintained by svn.

aight, i'll try to reproduce.

sorry. yeah, there's a single line fix i posted a few posts back.
line 290 in skilletqueue.lua should read:
DoCraft(skillIndexLookup[recipe.id], command.count)
that will fix enchanting. i'm in the middle of some other changes, or i'd fix it and upload it...
yes, this will be the new behavior of the create/queue all button.
