I am currently in the process of removing my eyeballs and glueing them to the Projects Page!
^-^
okay, so i set up a clone of the skillet main project, but i have absolutely no idea how that stuff all works. dunno if it'll package it into something the curse client can download or if you need svn or what...
also, there's a new version of lsw but it's alpha so again, i'm a little vague as to how it all fits into the current scheme of things...
lemme know if you get it to d/l and then if it works when you do!

Cool, i just tried to search the project pages for skillet and all it found was the original one, am i doing something stupidly wrong here where should i be looking :)
Skillet: A trade skill window replacement I currently do not have much time to work on Skillet, but I will try and get it working with the 3.0.2 patch and Wrath of the Lich King

It's pretty damn easy once you figure out how to dodge the Curseforge pages, kick the lion in the nuts, click a few non-intuitive links, and flip the audience off while wiping your blade on the cloak of the last guy who tried to use the repository.
yeah, i saw the new commit from nogudnik. i think the two versions are pretty different and it sounds like he just popped in to make the necessary changes to get it working with 3.0
edit: okay, i think i maybe set it up to perhaps make a package... maybe?
I grabbed a copy of the SVN version that you'd cloned, which is now giving me Skillet Autoscan and CHAT_MGS_SKILLUP messages at the appropriate times. The autoscan is particularly irritating.
Am I missing something obvious to turn this info off? Or is it on because I got a dev snapshot that wasn't really supposed to be a release?

yeah, it's spammy cuz it's kind of a dev snapshot. there were lots of complaints about weird lag issues so i added some feedback so i could see when it was triggering different events. there are some other problems with some dropdowns not showing up, so once i sort those out, i'll comment out those messages as well.
Basically you have to copy the revision you want to release to a new subdirectory in the tag directory, with the name of that new subdirectory being in a specific format to trigger the packager to label it the way you want.
Where can we find the new version :)
I look forward to trying your new version

I noticed also on the skillet-wikipage

Poking around still, but nothing so far.
Edit: Well without the libs it don't work
Here's the error---
Error: Cannot find a library instance of Window-1.0.

You need to go into the repository and Tag it as a version to get it to build out.
(you can have alpha, Beta, or release versions.

how? i created a tag in the "tag" section and said "alpha". i haven't seen any change to anything, tho...
I had to dig up the information myself last night. Here's a link:
