with r99 the button facade border i use (simpleSquare) looks a bit to bright for my taste. Can you please add a custom color option for the icon border?

For you, yes ;). Do you want an alpha adjustment for the icon border color or a custom color option (like the background) or both?
If you want more info Tomber, I "translated" my plugin from spellnames to spellids so that it works on all wow client languages.
Other than that "All cooldowns" test bug, i find bug with the associatedSpell if i put spellids in there and if the condition contains "All cooldowns" or "Item ready" tests
I think that item cooldowns are behaving differently than spell cooldowns.
I have Hyperspeed Accelerators attached to two gloves (the ones my char wears and on other gloves stored in my bag).
When i use the equipped gloves in order to activate the effect, there are cooldowns triggered for both gloves. So i believe technically the item(s) are on cooldown and not the spell itself.
Raven is getting better and better, mostly thanks to your prompt replies on requests, bugs, etc.
A couple of things from me:
I second the option to do something with the border as the Elegance: Dark skin I am using is not that dark anymore :P
Additionally (unless I am missing the option) I have some groups not clickable (procs, cooldowns, etc) but they are still a dead spot on my screen. Would it be possible to have to option to make them clickthrough?

Icon border color improvements are being worked on now.
What do you mean by "not clickable"? Setting General->Combat Options->Clicks, perhaps? And turning off tooltips? I think I understand what you want in any case: an option on each group's General tab to make it click-through. That seems doable--please open an enhancement request ticket and I'll try to get to it.

I started to look at this and discovered some left over code from when notifications could have associatedSpells that overrode the ones in the conditions (not one of my best ideas ). I will clean that up and see if it helps.
Also there is an enhancement request ticket for more consistent acceptance of spell ids in fields that accept spell names. I will add "handle item ids" as a comment to that ticket to capture that idea.

I just meant that in "Combat Options" I have the "allow clicks" option unchecked :)
Edit: to clarify: even though the option is unchecked I still get a dead spot at the place the proc/buff pops up

That is what I figured. Mouse interactivity was still left enabled to support tooltips and the now obsolete right-click buff canceling code. There will need to be a new option to specifically ask for click-thru, I think.
Thank you Sir :)
As always: more options = better customization, so both would be top notch.
I hope a custom color option for icon borders meets your needs. I have it working in my development version and it is pretty cool. Let me know when you get a chance to test it--it isn't available yet but will be included in the next version.
I couldn't make the alpha adjustment for icon borders work out, at least not for now. It gets a bit too strange since the color is applied to either my built-in Normal.tga texture or by ButtonFacade to skin textures.
I am looking forward to see the icon border color option in action :-)
Regarding the alpha adjustment i think that it is not that important as one can always change the overall group alpha.
Version r100 is a new alpha that includes the icon border custom color option and code cleanup for associated spells. It also fixes that localization issue for conditions with tests that have the "spells" field.
I didn't see anything that explained the associated spell issues for certain types of tests so I am hopeful that the code cleanup does the trick. Let me know if you still have issues with the alpha, Zoumtag.
I haven't looked at the click-thru issue yet. I am going to add a ticket so I don't forget it.
Just wanted to post a comment to say that I'm impressed with the feature set of this addon. It's very impressive. I've played with it enough to know it's nice! For now I'm sticking with what's familiar but I'll likely revisit come cat.
Hello Tomber, Thanks for the icon border color, you just seem to have it linked to the icon font color so my now black border also produces black fonts :P Thanks :)
- you can change the icon border of each group individually
- when changing the icon text color of a group this color is instantly applied to all groups as icon border color
- a nice-to-have would be a default color setting for the icon border

Doh!
Fixed in version r101. Well, I needed to make a new alpha anyway to add the folder and hooks for localizing the options panel. Thanks for catching that!
The icon border coloring works great now. Thank you for this!
I would like to stress, that a feature that makes a group completely click-through for mouse input would be really great, as it has been requested earlier.
The reason is, that i have set up a buff group for procs which display rather big icons in the center of the screen. In a stressed raid environment it happens that i accidentally click on these big icons in order to select something or for moving purposes which is intercepting my mouse input.
EDIT: Sorry, i just realized that you have already a ticket open for this.
Seems that Raven have a problem with profiles because it look like all are the same (read : "global profile"). I use profile in the Character- Realms way but if I load a toon, made some modifications in Raven (notifications related), if a relaod another character, even in Character- Realms profile, I've the modification made in previous car (I'm not un Default profile !)

Raven only provides separate settings in the per-character profile for a subset of it functions. This is described in the description near the end in a section captioned "Multiple Characters". The only per-character settings really are bar groups, conditions, and Button Facade settings. Also, using Link Settings many of the bar group settings are by default shared (if these are what you are referring to then try turning off Link Settings in each bar group and see if that helps). This is all by design. Please let me know if there are specific settings that you don't want to share between characters and I'll let you know if there is a way to accomplish that.
I'm not sure if this is a Blizzard or Raven behavior, but the stack count overlay on icons isn't centered (it's more to the left of the icon). I checked icon text offset/inset and both are set to "0". Setting the inset to "+2" seems to center the icon stack count overlay.

Other than that "All cooldowns" test bug, i find bug with the associatedSpell if i put spellids in there and if the condition contains "All cooldowns" or "Item ready" tests
For example:
works fine
while
displays a buggy icon
It seems it only happens on conditions that contains a "All cooldowns" or a "Item ready" test (maybe other ones that i didnt catch)
On the other hand
associated icon here seems to work fine (no all cooldowns nor item ready here)
I will do more investigation on this tomorrow but maybe that will help you find what's up.
i want to share my thoughts on this one.
