Yep, found that, and i have the script working. gorgeous implementation. who knows, this may fix all my issues. can't figure out the roth thing you were mentioning though.
I just adjusted the SharedMedia check order, for whatever reason loading Lib SM-3 before lib SM-2 was causing sharedmedia to not load in the drop down lists. I just adjuted the load order.
I just tried the Roth border, its not quite what you got but close. Im sure some graphics person out there could play with it a bit and give you the same output your looking for.
no worries, I sperated them out for memory effeciency, since you dont often change config one you create a layout. MY compromise was to give a cmdline way to swap to a diff layout whenever you wanted to.
I am no coder, no great whiz..but I do know that Discord mods had some great artwork. Was just thinkin how how nice it would be if some of those great works of art could be preserved AND used....hhhmmm.
Does the new Text feature support DogTags? It would be a great feature - especially for those who does not use PitBull as UnitFrames.
Also a way to control the size of a panel through DogTags would be cool. With little effort you could basically make your own de/buff timers! Right? At least this post on EJ makes me think it would be possible.
DogTags are not nativly support, you could add it if you wanted to through the scripting features. kgPanels isnt a unit frame so dogtag text wont work out of the box. IF you got a good handle on scripting and understand how dogtag does its thing, should be easy enough for you to add whatever text you want.

I don't have a clue. But I hope someone will come up with an example that people can adjust to their own needs.
How about the bar timers - would that be possible? Say I make a bar that tracks the time on Polymorph on my focus. Would I be able to update its width through DogTags? Or is kgPanels not suited for that kind of use (too jaggy animation perhaps)?
What is my 'OnLoad' and 'OnEvent'?
fred: /kgpanels config should open the config menu
This is what I get when I do /kgpanels config....but no waterfall( ? ) menu
19:47:50 kgPanels: Usage: /kgpanels <command>
19:47:50 kgPanels: "config" enter the config screen.
19:47:50 kgPanels: "enable" enable the mod.
19:47:50 kgPanels: "disable" disable the mod.
19:47:50 kgPanels: "layout" "layout name" to change layouts.
19:48:13 kgPanels: MISSING
Duh... I didn't see that.Thx for the help! This is awesome :)
The art is just textures - you can use it with whatever addon you want.
