Got a strange problem with skada (don't know with which version it appeared) but with my french client healing and total healing mode are not available, but if I run with the english language pack they are available...
I don't know if this have an impact or not but checking enUS.lua file in the locale directory I can see:
L["'s Healing"] = "'s Healing"
line 160
L["'s Healing"] = true
line 248
I haven't checked if there are more duplicate keys
For the record, I am using Skada with standalone libraries with LibFail-1.0 added to OptionalDependencies in SkadaFailbot.toc without any problems whatsoever.
Yes i did...and as i first said (see the Error Path!) i use the SVN Version not the Download Version. There is a difference between SVN and Download Version. In the Download Version you have all Modules like SkadaFailbot or SkadaHealing as seperate Addons in your Addons Folder. In the SVN Version you have all Modules inside the Skada Folder. \AddOns\Skada\modules\Skadaxxxxxx. I still get the error i posted before...
Then add the OptionalDepenencies to Skada.toc. It doesn't really matter where it is, as long as it's somewhere WoW will read it, and somewhere where it will cause LibFail-1.0 to be loaded before SkadaFailbot. If you're doing things like using SVN checkout versions, you should know this kind of stuff...

I am getting this as well... or something very similar.
I was using recount but it is such a memory hog in 25-man raids that i had to find something else. The one thing Skada does need is the ability to track mitigation and healing (yes I am a Disc Priest.) Can you please add a module that combines absorbs and heals. I fully understand the "estimated" nature of calculating absorbs, but the info it can give us, really helps improve our and the raid performance.
If the inability to perfectly quantify the values bothers you, then you can label/title the module with a warning that shows when posted.
Thanks for your time creating and maintaining a great addon!!
I'd really like to see more detailed breakdowns. For example, I can go (1) Damage > (2) PlayerName > (3) SpellName > (4) SpellBreakdown to see a breakdown of hits, crits, ticks, etc. However, under Healing, I can only get to level 3; I can't see a breakdown of say, Riptide hits, crits, and ticks. Under Total Healing, I can't see any breakdown at all beyond level 2, so I can't see a list of specific spells that contributed to the total.
I'd also like to see some way to see who healed who... something like "Healed Who: TankX 42% TankY 27% RogueQ 13% etc" with each entry clickable to see a breakdown of healing cast on that person. The reverse view, "Healed By", could also be interested.

I would prefer that "estimated absorption" functionality stay out of the official core distribution of any combat meter addon. While you may understand that it's just an estimate, the majority of people will take it as The Absolute Truth, just as they do with things like "DPS", which addon authors have to repeatedly explain is not some perfect value with an absolute definition. Recount does the right thing by keeping absorption in a separate download whose name even describes its nature: "RecountGuessedAbsorbs".
A feature I'd like to see is the ability to report the currently displayed window.
If I view damage done by mob X during encounter N, I can only post damage done by mob X, Y and Z during encounter N.
Same as if I would like to report to a person which one of his abilitys did the most damage.
At the moment I am only able to report the big categorys and its somewhat a timehogger to click the LDB icon and then what mode and when to post.
a "/skada report raid current x" would be great i'd say!

I have been reluctant to add such a module because, yes, it is guesswork, and will probably need extra maintaining. Quite a few people, including my raid leader, seem to want it though, so I may get to it soon.

In 1.2-5, opening the menu by shift-clicking on anything in a window will tailor the menu to that window. It will then only report the current view in that window.
If you open the menu by clicking elsewhere, on the LDB view, or the minimap button, you can choose mode and segment the old-fashioned way.
I really love this new report feature but there seems to be a bug with the reported lines. Even when 10 lines are selected only e.g. 4 are reported. It doesn't matter what I change, the number of reported lines is nearly never the number I chose.

Yes, those two views would be good. Same as the Enemy damage done/taken but healing.

I went for doing the wrong thing by including it in the main addon for now, as SkadaAbsorbs. :)
It is based on RecountGuessedAbsorbs and seems to work OK in a rough test.
1. Absorbs only seems to include priest shields. I'm a feral druid so Savage Defense makes up a significant portion of my mitigation when tanking. Can this be included?
2. On the summary screens Fails always reports 0. Viewing fail details only ever shows a single entry which I presume is just the last fail event. I know there's been more fails since failbot is spamming me during combat of all the awsome raiders failing (waves on Sarth, voidzones on KT etc...).
3. When viewing detailed combat info (breakdown of dmg taken or done for a particular raider) and using the shift+click to report that window, it only reports a single line, not the full visible table.
4. The tooltips showing Min/Max/Avg hits are handy but the Min values include misses, so will always be 0 unless you're hit capped and never miss. Not sure if this is intended or not, but I'd prefer it to exclude misses/dodges etc.
When trying to report Absorbs in a whisper (r195):
2009/04/29 19:55:20-7461-x1]: Skada-1.0\Skada.lua:590: bad argument #2 to 'format' (string expected, got nil)

Interface\FrameXML\StaticPopup.lua:3055: in function `StaticPopup_OnClick':
<string>:"*:OnClick":1: in function <[string "*:OnClick"]:1>
Had a weird issue last night. I backed out of my healing done and when I tried to go back into it it just wasn't there. There was no healing done to choose anywhere. I will let you know if I can reproduce it. r195
Skada doesn't seem to start recording any data until i start damaging mobs myself. For example, 24 other people can start nuking a target, but nothing gets recorded before i start dpsing it myself. Is this intended behaviour?

By default HPS is shown, or rather was supposed to. It broke in last version. Fixed now. :)
