It's supposed to hold last fight until next is started if you are in the "Current" segment. It works for me currently. I did some tweaking the last few days that may affect this though.
Do you have this problem with 1.0-13?
Nope, data disappears the second i exit combat after a fight currently.

Steps to reproduce:
Choose total damage done, then mouse over the LDB icon.
Did a sapphiron run and i noticed that an enhancement shammy and a unholy DK had XXk less damage than with Recount. All other classes seemed to be very similar with Recount's damage.

Handling of DK pets and similar minions should be improved now. As in, it now exists. :)

With 1.0-14, data still disappears after exiting combat. This only seems to happen during a raid atm, worked fine when i was soloing. I tested during a Sartharion run. Yesterday in naxx, data did not disappear instantly, i think i used r126.

I am completely clueless about this problem at the moment. I am not able to reproduce it. :/
I can't test that atm, as all trash is dead. Fight segments during the bossfight are stored as it should, so no problems there. Will test more tomorrow on trash.
Also:
When someone dies and gets a BR, the detailed death meter thingy doesnt show the last actions before he died but also all other events after he accepted the rez
Ok, the reason the data disappears instantly after exiting combat is because i have ''keep only boss segments'' checked. Is this intended behaviour? Data from last fight is kept if i don't check ''keep only bossfights''. On Recount, data from last fight is still kept even if i only keep boss segments. Also 2 errors with latest version:

Could be another addon causing this, i have no idea.
Edit: Fixed these errors by disabling/re-enabling bigwigs, so it's not a skada issue.

It would be very nice to have the last fight kept regardless of the "keep boss fights only" check. Let the boss fights be an option for saving historical data but don't touch the current fight. This becomes especially useful when combined with your automatic "in combat" switch (to threat in my case). Since I see threat while in combat I never see the last fight now.
Basically, i want to see the fight for sartharion+2 drakes but filter the main view by only 1 single drake, i was going to mod this into recount myself but your mod looks a lot better than recount (and i want the fails too! :))
I just added two new modes, Enemy damage done and Enemy damage taken, which shows a list of all mobs in the segment, and on drilling down shows the players and their damage done on/taken by that mob.
Have not had a chance to test it out yet; the memory usage should be light but not insignificant. I don't save the data to the Total segment.

Seconded. I don't care about being able to look back at previous trash fights later on, but I do want to be able to see the fight that just ended. It seems like it would be extremely simple to solve this problem by delaying clearing the current fight (based on the user's retention settings) until the next fight started.
Unfortunately right now I have to turn off "save only boss fights" in order to see the information I want, which means that at the end of the night I can't go back and review boss fights unless I've set the total number of fights to save to some ridiculously huge number.

You can actually go back and manually check fights for saving, but that doesn't change the need to make the "last fight" stick until the next fight starts regardless of your settings.
Right. I don't want to have to remember to manually save fights... not only because I shouldn't have to, but because when I'm in the middle of a raid I will forget to do this 95% of the time. :p
Hm the minimap-icon does load on login, even if the setting is unmarked to show it.
When i set and unset it in the option, the icon is gone but gonna be back after relog.

Yeah, but it's weird that it's just DK's/enhancement shammies. Could be that it doesn't handle the renaming of the pets of DK's etc.

If you reset your profile, does it still happen?

Yes, it is the intended behaviour.
So, if i don't check that, will memory increase by alot? As it keeps every fight.
Nevermind, memory growth is minimal.
