Reverse Growth Issue. Is it possible to have Skada show the top ranking bars instead of the bottom ranking bars when using reverse growth? Sometimes for threat the tanks get pushed off the top of the list by pets. I put it at the bottom of my screen and like having it grow up from there, but whenever I'm in a raid I have to continuously scroll to the top to see the most useful information.
That Reverse Growth Issue has been a glaring logical error for ages. I put in a ticket about it months ago, it still haven't been fixed.
Also hiding the bars during combat doesn't even make sense but is fine to have if the logical additional option of hiding while NOT in combat was there. It isn't.
My skada is no longer keeping segments of fight anymore. It either does Total Overall fights (all of them together) or Only the current fight. I can not look at past fights anymore?

It makes a lot of sense. Statistics like fails, healing done or damage taken are pretty much for postmortem analysis, and hence can as well be hidden during combat.
I've had no problems with fight segments, until I created a second Skada window for use as a threat meter. The original Skada window is set to show damage, and the second window shows threat.
Each time I login, the original window does *something* wrong with its segment settings so that it's displaying nothing at all. The threat window works fine. If I specifically pop open the original window segment config and choose "current fight" again it starts working again, but I have to do that each time. (When the segment config is opened, there is nothing selected at all.)
I have problems with segments as well, they don't seem to be working.
I would also like to request something that would make Disc Priests very happy. Currently, we have a Healing and Absorbs mode which works wonders, but I think it would be even better if we could have an Effective Healing and Absorbs mode.
It is very simple, really. Effecting Healing and Absorbs would be just like the current Healing and Absorbs but with a twist: showing overheals. As it is right now, people who spam heals (namely Paladins, who always show off their Healing meters and look down upon us, while they seem to ignore their huge overhealing and our absorbs) will be placed in their correct ranking, giving Disc priests and other mitigation-based healers a equal opportunity to be on top.
Was gonna do some Dummytesting today and found a small glitch in the "hide when solo" and/or "disable while hidden" functions.
Clicking the LDB feed to show Skada overwrites/cancels the "hide when solo" but the "Disable when hidden" does not notise that im now showing the skada window. Due to this its impossible to log solo data without removing either of the options.
It might be intentional, but personally i feel it to be logical that if i force the wndow to show when solo the "Disable when hidden" function should detect that skada is showing and thus start logging.
I asked this question several pages back and got no response; If a person dies and is then battle rezzed during a fight, is there a way to see their death details for their first death and no only the death after they were battle rezzed? Sorry to be persistent, but I'd rather make sure it isn't something I'm doing wrong before I file a ticket requesting a feature be added.
@mrphantuan: There are several specialized addons that track deaths, for example Death Note. Try to use them, they provide really useful information about deaths, such as usage of protective abilities before death et cetera.
Skada tracks deaths, so this is a reasonable enhancement request.
Hopefully this addon is still being developed. The failbot module hasn't worked for a year or so and the whole thing is entirely broken on the 4.1 PTR, which will probably go live in the next two weeks.
Hi, the option "disable in PvP" doesn't work well. User checked this option needs rechecked again every time when get in BG or arena. Does anyone know how to fix it?
First off, I cant get Skada to look remotely acceptable. It looks revolting without a background (doesnt fit in with anything); however, when I enable the background, I get this: http://ell.io/5lsX
I can find no setting to adjust the bars upwards so they actually sit inside the border.
Second, when you adjust the background colour of the bars, they dont actually update until you change modes.
I definitely love Skada simply because it so light weight and intuitive. I currently use it for tanking and one of the things that bugs me is its hard to go back to the Threat Mode (module whatever) when I go to check the dps or damage taken etc. Threat isn't on the Skada:Modes menu since it only displays like the first 10 modes in alphabetical order, so threat isn't on there. My current workaround has been to rename the Threat module to "All Threat". For those interested in how to do it:
local mod = Skada:NewModule (L["All Threat"])--(L["Threat"])
My completely frivolous and pointless question is can I get Skada:Modes to Sort the modes differently rather than alphabetically. I tried this(my code is red):
function Skada:AddMode(mode)
--SOME CODE
table.sort(modes, function(a, b) return a.name < b.name end)
table.insert(modes, 1, "All Threat")
for i, win in ipairs(windows) do
win:Wipe()
end
This didn't work because it looks like Skada likes to wipe the current mode list repeatedly and refresh it alphabetically once again. Full Disclosure I know next to nothing about Lua or most programing.

Anyone have an idea?
A tip that might help is to turn of unneeded modules to make the list shorter.
The healing module does not currently show a death knight's blood worms' healing. Are they more difficult to track because it is not a direct heal from the death knight?

Currently the individual spell only shows the # of hits and crits and the % or the total for each.
It is just nice to report what the damage/healing of individual spells are, not just in tooltips.
