Tried this out last night, and it's looking pretty good. :) I had been using Buffalo, since I wasn't a fan of the buff-bar style - though my only exposure to it had been CT when it first changed to bars (so I never really tried EBB either). But this is so configurable, I can make it just how I want it. :)
One thing that I would like to see:
The ability to customize tooltip display - to move it to default tooltip position, left of frame, hidden, mini tooltips, etc. When mousing over my buff bars (which are near the top of the screen), the tooltip bumps up against the top of the screen - meaning I can't really see which bar I'm pointing at, as the tooltip is covering everything.
Question, is there anyway to modify the textures without using another addon entirely, I enjoyed this with EBB :(
You mean apart from selecting the bar texture under the group bar configuartion metnu?
Yes particularly with old EBB, you could pull any texture you find and rename it to fit. Example I really like Natur Castbar water texure #10 if anyone uses. Its a rarity but would like the option to replace the defaults pre-packed (glazed, steel, cilo, perl, etc)
Other than that, I do enjoy this mod, it has more options, seems a bit cleaner and well designed. I feel pretty much in total control of how i want buffs displayed, I was just giving some feedback of the textures! Good job elk! :)
EBB gets its textures via SharedMediaLib. It doesn't come with any textures of its own. Thats why I said in the start post that also installing SharedMedia, which inserts some additional textures into SharedMediaLib, is suggested. Surfaces is the same as SharedMedia but for SurfaceLib, which's textures SharedMediaLib will also import if it's present. But feel free to attach the texture and where you got it from to a post and I'll look into adding it to SharedMedia :)

I'd really like the ability to be able to have the statusbar-ish backgrounds for the buff bars, without the actual moving status bar. know what I mean? Like, I want to color the background of my positive buffs blue, with the neat otravi bar style, but i dont want it to be an actual status bar, i just want it to be a solid bar that doesnt get smaller.

You ask and you shall recieve :) statusbar and background can now be toggled seperatly ^^
I also added alpha values for the whole group, statusbars, background and font strings.

Ahh... I got it now. I guess when I read your suggestion last night, my brain added the word "Lib" to the end of SharedMedia. But SharedMediaLib does not have any "media" in it. :P Now I understand - I guess I had completely forgotten that I saw the SharedMedia download. hehe

Oh also, would it be possible to add a "None" option to sorting, so that buffs for that given group appear in the order you acquired them, rather than by the name or duration?
Updated just tonight (Apr 4) and previously working EBB is now totally broken. All of my previous (default) bar groups are gone. I'll post the error frame if I can copy it.

Is there some other way of getting the mod other than files.wowace.com? I still only see the older one from yesterday, yet you've updated it twice since then i think?

Any luck on finding a FuBar icon yet?

Edit: into Surfaces if you have that folder in your directory. I did that with a custom texture for a UI of mine.

@Shinja: should be fixed in this commit, too.
