Yes I do. I shut off all mods I use on my main toon, and the tooptips still come up blank.
Funnily enough I've just come here to look up the same problem after ignoring it for a long time. Doing a bit of a UI revamp so came looking for a fix or alternative.
I'm largely baffled by it. Blank tooltips, no error generated (running only EBB, BugGrabber and BugSack)...
Owell, dunno what solved my problem but it's solved. Decided to do a complete UI purge and rebuild to flush out the old and try a few new addons. Somewhere along the line of deleting all my saved variables and addons the problem disappeared...
Loving the bars, one of the few addons that survives every time I revamp my setup. :)
Media add to my media in sharedmedia doesnt show up in ElkBB, it does however for all other addons (except classtimers). I can add it to the standard sharedmedia lua, but that will be gone with next update if im correct.
How can i get Elkbb to see whats in the mymedia.lua and folders?
Is there a way to turn on/off each of the groups independently of the others? For example, I have a group that shows the debuffs on the target that I can apply (for raid purposes) but I don't want to see that group when I'm soloing or in battlegrounds.
I've had this small problem since... wow, a long time now. A minor annoyance, but perhaps someone can help with this.
My temporary enchantment bars always 'wig out' when reaching their expiration. The bar will go solid and stretch horizontally across my entire screen for about 3 seconds after a poison/weightstone/etc expires on my weapons, then vanishes.
No dice? Even after complete profile reset, it's still doing it. :/ This is only becoming a problem now that I'm playing a rogue, where I'm using weapon buffs a lot more often... seeing those bars wig out on expiry is a bit frustrating!
Request: Could an option be added to have the bars organized horizontally (from Left-to-Right or Right-to-Left), in addition to the standard vertical orientation.
I have one bar I use for short-term buffs (trinket effects, proc effects, etc - effects with 20 second or less durations) where I don't use the progress bars. Just the icons with the duration as a number on them, and the charges when they applies (such as with Holy Shield, Combustion, etc). I'd love to make this bar horizontal and have it across the bottom of the screen just under my character so I can easily see which effects are currently on me.
Having an option to anchor to the center of the bar would be perfect for such an addition, if possible.
Thanks, and please keep up the wonderful work. I think EBB is the addon I've been using the longest (it was one of the first addons I ever installed).
I created several groups of short time buff bars for player, target and focus. Did it to see if I can emulate ClassTimer (which seems to have slight problem f.e. not catching all debuffs or getting it wrong).
It works fine, but I noticed that the bar animation is a bit "jumpy" or uneven. It's no big thing because the bars work as they should. It just didn't feel as smooth as it should.

I've noticed this with short duration buffs/debuffs also, the bars don't update smoothly, but skip and stagger. Once i'm out of combat the remaining buff/debuff bars tend to move a lot smoother though. It doesn't seem to a framerate issue, as other addon bars move fluidly during combat.
Is it possible to have short-duration buffs update more frequently?
Update..
I've just run a couple of tests: My character is a rogue so i enabled an energy ticker that sends a statusbar spark across my energy bar during OnUpdate, and that maintained smooth motion. I also disabled all addons except EBB, deleted EBB's files in WTF, and re-installed EBB into addons, but i still got the same hiccupy/skippy/unsmooth motion of buff bars that're short duration. I think that rules out other addons hogging OnUpdate time, and a bad config/install of EBB?
I'd like to help fix this issue, it might seem a bit silly to be bothered by the jumpy motion of bars, but it can be a bit distracting. :)
As everyone knows, today was patch day for release of WoW 2.4.2. Upon load, I recieved two errors with Elkano's Buff Bars:
...ce\Addons\ElkBuffBars\libs\Abacus-2.0\Abacus-2.0.lua:21: bad argument #1 to 'sub' (string expected, got nil)
After clicking "Okay," the second error repeated over 30 times, it might be infinite; Don't know how this works:
Interface\Addons\ElkBuffBars\ElkBuffBars.lua:312: attempt to index upvalue 'EBB_Bar' (a nil value)
Aside from the error messages, all of the ElkBuffBars bars had disappeared, and I did have buff effects on at the time. through the commands /ebb options and /ebb about I was able to get to the about frame and to the options menu, which appeared to be (what's the word, attached to?) the frame of my fourth bar group, the highest number group I have. I hope any of this helps.
By the way, I am a feral druid and I use ElkBuffBars not merely to organize types of buffs into readable groups, but to do important tasks like timing mangles, and keeping watch of my own Heal over Time spells. Your addon is integral to my experience; countless horde have died thanks to the precision timing granted by your mod... Thank you.
hopefully someone can help me with the following:
EBB worked perfectly until 2.4.2 so now i have some ugly problem:
EBB doesn't show (de-/)buffs of the player. target and focustarget work fine. i have no idea what could cause that. i tried to delete wtf-folder entries of EBB ... without success. problem's still there.

But if it allready has been asked.. sorry..
But, when i etc. buff myself with shield it highlights the Debuff.. I really only want it as a normal debuff as it also shows it like.
Look http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn269/voozel/zomggg.jpg this is what i mean. Hope you can answer me how to remove the highlighted Debuff
Or is using profiles the only way?

Any thoughts?

Good to know. Any idea when that might be?
Still love EBB!

Besides that, for me the debuffs do show up.
