As a request:
If you have played around with the new settings and created a layout besides standard layout that nicely fits your UI and demonstrates EBB's "new power", would you mind posting some screenshots?
It would be nice to see what you did to it and maybe would give others some ideas :)
This is something I found via google, I think he wanted to demonstrate his guild the power of white-/blacklisting ^^:
lol that's my screenshot :P
btw i lost my settings a few days after, now i redone almost everything, and add many new groups, i need only to create "debuff" group, like 'slowing and immobilizing' 'DoT' 'Dispellable' and so on...
would it be possible to add new 'buff category' on the fly (like BUFF / DEBUFF / TENCH / TRACKING) and move a buff to this new category?
Here is the purpose of this request :
I've created a new bar group for all my very important buff that I prefer to have on the center of the screen; the list of those buffs do not change.
So now I have two bar group one for the common buffs and one for the important buffs, on the common buffs I've blacklisted the important buffs and on the important buffs I've blacklisted the common Buffs. But I still discover some new buffs so each time a new buff is discovered I have to blacklist it on my important buff bar.
But if instead of doing this I could create a new category of Buff in which I put only the desired buff then I would select this category for my important buff bar and the BUFFS category for the common BUFFS bar that would prevent common BUFFS to appear on my important BUFFS and I would not have anything more to configure.
English is not my native language, sorry if I was not very clear.
Some screens for looking what ElkBuffBars can do? Ok!
From left to right: Upper left (brown) Rogue-Debuffs, left (not visible) all debuffs and buffs except of the rogue-debuffs, middle (yellow) own Rogue buffs, upper right (blue) own buffs and auras, debuffs, weapon enchants
i have a problem. i dont know if its the mod or something default by blizzard you cannot change, however.. some buffs (for me anyways) such as battleshout and enrage especially, do not have their progress bars start from the far right.
as seen here, i put a red line where enrage starts.
The new EBB has a list of max times a buff ever lasted on you. And some times it can bug, so some buffs get saved with a far too high max time. Maybe they are tracked from mobs or so, I don't know what causes this.
I have the same problem with Invisibility... the fading buff of 5sec and the invisible buff itself have the same name... the max time is saved with 20sec from the invisible buff and therefore the fading buff with 5sec always starts with a bar that says 5/20sec.
The saving of maxtimes has the purpose of beeing able to show the correct max time after a ui reload or login, right? I don't know if this bug described above affects only short buffs, but if it does, can you please add an option, to not save maxtimes of short buffs (< 30sec or so, changeable in the options menu ^^)?
Or add a "blacklist of buffs with not saved max times", so I can for example add Invisbility to this list.
And another bug:
The group spacing is added even if a group is empty. So if I have an empty group and then a group with buffs (e.g. buffs -> debuffs -> tench and debuffs is empty), this group has double the spacing added. (e.g. I have spacing set to 5, debuffs is empty, then spacing between buffs and tench seems to be 10)
