Looks like a great mod, however i've encountered a problem.
Sometimes it doesnt keep track of some of my shouts (as a warrior), sometimes it doesnt keep track of anything at all. Problem appears to happen when i logout/login or do /console reloadui while a bar was actively tracking a timer. If you could solve this prob this might be one of my top mods =)
Also i had trouble making the mod remember my settings, do i need to stay online for sometime for them to be saved or what?
Other then these issues its a very nice mod, keep up the good work pal =)
Hi nightblade, i've just committed a change which should affect the problem you're having, let me know if you still have problems after updating :) Revision: 50652
With regards the saving of settings, they should be saved when you make the changes, but i think they're not written to file until you either /reloadui or logout. if you alt-F4 i dont think they're saved. however, dont quote me on that, because its a guess ^^
First problem is fixed. But i still can't make my settings get saved.
I deactivate trackers for Bloodrage but when i log or reloadui they get reset to default (all skill trackers active).
Tryed logging normally, exiting, exiting with alt+f4, playing sometime then logging, reloadui. But alas everytime i log back in, my settings are gone.
Hope you can fix it as well, good luck and thanks for the mod.
hehe *oops* silly mistake causing the active option not being saved. fixed in revision 50660. also properly fixed bars loading on login. still need to test aura detection with hunters pet buffs, and also things like warlock pet buffs (fire shield, etc).
Hello, 70 Shadow Priest here. I'll give this a try today, I like the ability to add colors to spells (which is why I've always used spellwatch). I'll let you know what I think and post here any issues or suggestions I have.
I am still having problems with mobs. All the casts are working fine on myself. It shows everything but when I cast on a mob nothing happens. If I run in debug mode it shows the cast and all. I am not getting any error messages or anything.
This is on a 70 shadow priest, btw.

Hi, theres a new version comming soon which should fix all problems like that, it may take a day or so to get right, but i want to give it a thorough test across all classes before i commit it. I'll post again when i make it available :)
Oridan, any plans to make a wiki page for this? Maybe a screenshot or two, and a list of what spells are supported for each class? SpellReminder looks very promising.
I seen it mentioned earlier, but I would also like to see SpellReminder display Lifebloom and Healing Way stacks on a bar in some fashion. Maybe a number showing how many stacks the target has in the middle of the bar, as an example. Not really sure how difficult it would be to implement that though.

Hi Sevus, there is a wiki page set up http://www.wowace.com/wiki/SpellReminder but no screenshots as yet, kindof hard for me to take good screenshots because i'm never happy enough with the addon to "present" it! However, i just made some nice changes which i'm hoping to commit before i go and sleep.
Having a resto shaman upcoming fast as one of my main characters i'd really like to get some sort of Healing way tracker implimented, this is all going to be part of my improvements to detecting "on hit" effects like frostbrand weapon and some of the pally things (i didnt bother making a pally higher than level 8 so its quite hard to test ^^). But rest assured its a deffinate feature i've got planned.
As for spells, anything and (or) everything that has a duration listed in the tooltip is currently tracked, in some way shape or form. I designed SpellReminder because i detest hardcoded "setup" files, i'd like to think that come the next expansion, SpellReminder will just automagically detect any new spells that are added... and in theory it should, this can be tested by simply going to your trainer and learning a new spell. SpellReminder now detects talent changes, pet changes and when you buy new skills from the class trainer, and re-scans your spellbook for the new spell durations.
There are downsides, of course, to a fully automated system. For example i cant seem to find an event for when fire totems are lost (because they dont give an aura) so the timer bar will stay even if its destroyed. Perhaps there is another event i'm just missing.
Anyways, the long and short is if people keep coming up with good ideas and kind words like this, then i'll keep adding the new features! Its funny really, I never imagined people would actually use SpellReminder, i just started out making a little popup because i kept forgetting to re-shout myself while tanking bosses!
So on that note, thank you to everyone! All your responses have given me the push i needed to keep on fixing :)
just committed the change that would "take a few days". should address quite a few problems that people are having.
The addon has quite a nice solid feel to it now. I also found the event for when a totem dies (or expires), but not for when its "dismissed" using totemic call, need to investigate it a bit more before i'm completely happy with that side of it.
Hey Oridan, would you mind keeping up a change log?
I mean, it's one thing that I consider extremely valuable as it's easier for your end user to figure out what was implemented/fixed/removed/etc in order to help you with testing/suggestions.
And three more requests, hopefully my last because the mod is otherwise perfect
1) Can you add the hide option for the fubar plugin?
2) When a buff expires can you report who it expired on? ( for example, "Blessing of Might has expired on Someguy" )
3) Can you truncate the time of the buffs in the bar ( > 1 left, I just see XXm, and < 1 min would be XXs ).

i've updated my initial post with this info too.
disabling emphasis is np
- change the width/height of the bars
- change the font face/size
- disable the emphasise action
just tick the "Override bar" option to enable the bar configurations.
Emphasise disabling has its own option.
1) Can you add the hide option for the fubar plugin?
2) When a buff expires can you report who it expired on? ( for example, "Blessing of Might has expired on Someguy" )
