The update from Ace2 to Ace3 caused all settings to be lost. You have to reconfigure Quartz. This is a one-time thing, and will not bother you again. Sorry for the inconvenience.
i updated Ace3 before quartz yesterday. Quartz was lookin as usual to my settings. Only when i update Quartz just now, everything changed. Is that suppose to be like this?
In top part I have my pet as the focus attacking a target dummy. The player and focus bars are enabled and unlocked so visible at all times. As you can see the focus bar is to be bottom (with the warcraft icon) but all of its event seem to be happening in the small box below the player bar. In addition, the target bar is locked but also not enabled but still seems to be to the top right of the player bar - focus and target both show this behaviour, I don't believe pet works at all (as I only see my pets abilities if I have it as my focus)
On the second part of the shot, yeah I can appreciate that some classes can cast while mirror would show something, but it would be great to customise this bar also, as a hunter I would put it over the top of my player bar as I can't use them at the same time (as generally during combat it only shows me casting volley or steady)

What you are refering to are not "casts". What you see there is a buff on your focus. By Default, the Buff module attaches the Target and Focus buffs to your Player Bar.
Does your Pet actually cast spells with a cast time, and thus a cast bar?
You can customize those Buff display in the Buff Module, for Focus and Target respectively.

If by "Dot" you mean channeled spells, then yes.
The latest Alpha Versions have that. At least for most spells i could think of, sadly the list of spells needs to be hardcoded. But if you are missing one, let me know.
Also, i mostly only added dmg spells, just some healing spells that seemed important, since its usually only an issue for dmg spells anyway.
weird while in the midst of reconfiguring everything, my DoT/spells timer doesn't shows up at all anymore. what i did was screenshotting the old quartz configuration and copy to the new quartz.

yeah there's the "next tick" for channeled spells, eg Drain Soul. What about DoTs, eg Corruption,Curse of Agony,etc.
Probably a stupid question, but when I tried to run Quartz 3, it didn't do anything, so I was wondering. Do I need to have Ace 3 installed for it to work or does it come with it's own Ace 3 framework?
Very happy that quartz is finally being updated, particularly now that azcastbars (my replacement for quartz, what, two years ago?) was abandoned.
One very long-standing bug-- the flight timers don't work. They pop up on the screen then immediately deplete and disappear. This feature hasn't worked for years.
Are you saying that the flight timers are bugged on Quartz? I can assure you that they work perfectly in conjunction with FlightMap and have done so for years.
