Hi, my apologies if this has been suggested before.
When I attempt a meeting stone summon, Quartz gives me a bar. I love this feature.
My suggestion is, can we make Quartz have my client send a message to Raid or Party, when I start a summon? Something like "Using Meeting Stone to summon %T" would be great.
Is it possible to place global cooldown marker on the main castbar (like when you craft multiple items)? I know I can deatach it,scale it and place it over the bar, but that makes black box over the bar....
I cant get the global cooldown to work. Whenever I put the instant spell name in the box, any action after that makes it disappear. Enable, closing, clicking a different tab, whatever, the spell box resets. Anyone have a clue how I can fix it?

Really want to use this option.
Press Enter after typing the spell name.
Um, I feel extremely stupid! Thanks! it's working now :)
Is it possible to specify which spells do you want to see when being casted by the target?
Reason I am asking this we have some members during the RoS encounter for them it would be easier to see either just deaden or spirit shock. so basically spirit shock does not get shown on the target cast bar when its casted and vice versa
Perhaps he wants to have Quartz display his trap durations? That's really outside Quartz's scope. He should look into addons like Chronometer for that.
I first want to thank Nymbia for an addon I now use every day.
There's one problem I'm encountering:
I play WoW on 3 machines (not simultaneously), and I use a
Unix tool called unison to copy my SavedVariables files
(and AddOns) between the machines. It's served me well for
nearly 2 years now. The problem is that each machine has a
different screen resolution (due to video card issues, etc).
One is 1280x1024, another 1280x960, and my "main raid" machine,
1650x1050. Is there any way to make the settings relative to the
screen size? I know the default cast bar always ends up in a
similar location, so I'm assuming this is doable. (It also messes
up my alignments with VisualHeal, but that's another story.)
My present workaround is to set up 3 profiles with the graphics
resolution as its name. I have to take that extra step to remember
which profile to use on the Mac, or the PC. I tried searching the
forum and only found one other person (who got no answer).
Thanks again for a great addon, and thanks in advance for your help.
I <3 this mod, but I have one problem with it. As a warlock it's seams kinda pointless to have it show Drainlife/soul on the dot-timer and also the cast bar.
Does anyone know if there is a way to make those spells not show up on the debuff bar?
Could you add Quartz_Player to the dependencies of Quartz_Mirror?
This would fix the setscale error on startup.
Kinda annyoing to fix it after every update.
I do and it only goes away when you do the thing i posted above.
My updater splits the addons up, so each sub-module has its own folder.
Think you only get that error then. Mirror trys to get scale data from player and dont get it, something like that.
I had quartz buff options turned off for a while... and decided to turn em back on to take a look see.
so far they dont show up for me....
And I get an error:
Quartz-0.1.0.38838\Buff\Buff.lua:284: <unnamed>:SetText(): Font not set
Quartz-0.1.0.38838\Buff\Buff.lua:284: in function `UpdateTargetBars'

gunna try to blow away my SV and see what happens, but just posting the error for general purpose.
Edit: Nvm, just saw that you can disable signatures in your profile. Go on, nothing to see here.

EDIT:
Killing the SV resolved my issue. Just an FYI.
