The drag-n-drop does only try to assign the same blessings but not nessecarily the same buffers. It tries to optimize who buffs what from talents so it seems like it picked you for might since you have talents for that. I'm not 100% sure what you mean by "...and might comes from Dmi's row, not from Aznamir's row.".
All I want to say is the idea AssignPlayerAsClassfunction is too complicated.
You don't really want PP to guess who's available and who's not, who has the best blessings, etc. Just use the same blessings and paladins, make it simple. The reason for that is that paladins do have the best blessings assigned already by the leader.
There's another bug. You can't drag the person back to their own class to reset custom blessings.

The menu is personal except for raid leaders, don't you think it should be possible for raid leaders to assign individual blessings for others?
In this case you need to drop this optimization idea and add another level to the menu.
I tried to show these new changes to other paladins in my guild and they found them too confusing.
(edit) Ok, I think I figured out how the reassignment menu works. But the drag and drop method really needs to be simplified.

But how come it shows 4 for BoL and 7 for BoW foir you? That seems a bit strange to me.
Ah.. Seems that I had Greater Blessings turned off. I'll try to test again.

I see your point with it might be a little bit too complicated but the reasons i didn't just do the assignments blind are:
- Blessings aren't always assigned optimal by the leader or whoever does it.
- The main reason is i wanted to keep as many greater blessings as possible and by this i mean that if some of the blessings you want to assign to a person is already assigned as a greater blessing but from a different paladin than the class you dragged the player to, then you will loose that. So i wanted to keep as many greater blessings as possible :)

That is on pupose. Right now the reset is right clicking the players instead. However that isn't done correctly right now though. But i could add what you suggest as a reset too.

This menu doesn't do any optimization. It simply have a list of paladins you can assign blessings to. So I'm not sure i understand what you want with another level. Maybe you could give an examble :)

I tried to test the drag and drop functionality again with 2 paladins having exactly same ranks of spells. Take a look at my previous screenshot. Imagine Aznamir has the same ranks as Dmi.
Move Noobies from Warlocks to Mages. Notice that these classes have exactly the same blessings.
What PP does, it assigns 'Kings on Noobies' to Dmi and 'Wisdom on Noobies' to Aznamir. That's a very pointless exchange of blessings. IMHO, it should check whether the new custom blessing is equal to old greater blessing and ignore such reassignments.
As I said, the optimized assignment does something that is not really expected and is very confusing. If you wanna keep the optimized functionality, I'd prefer to add 1:1 variation as alternative.
In any case, if the raid leader had some not very optimal blessings assigned, it's their choice and may be they had some reason for that =)
The assignments using the menu are fine, finally figured out how it works :)

Beside trying to optimize ranks i'll make sure that if ranks are equal, the buffers remain the same as the greater blessings. This basically means that if the raid leader assigened optimal blessings, everything should be assigned like you had in mind at first. And i agree with your examble of mages and warlocks. I'll work on this :)
Won't raid without this addon, and I appreciate the nice new colored timers but...
This addon *needs* a keybinding or /command to cast "a blessing"
Instead of having to click each class, I should be able to press "Cast a Blessing" key and it would cast the blessings (starting with the most needed as depicted by the button colors)
I also agree it would be nice to assign different single blessings for specific players (cough druids cough), but I haven't (yet) thought of a good way to do it either.
I downloaded this and gave it a try earlier, but it only recognized one of the two paladins in my testing raid group. I tried the refresh button, I tried removing and reinviting the second paladin, even re-forming the raid, but he just wouldn't show up. Any thoughts?
Show up exactly where? As another player under the paladin icon in the config menu? In the menu that appears when clicking a player in the config menu or the buff buttons?
In the buff assignments window. I could assign buffs for one paladin to cast, but not the other.
In order to assign individual blessings for other paladins you have to be party/raid leader or promoted like it always has been with greater blessings. Was that the case?
Yes. I was the raid leader. I invited two paladins and a couple others just to test. One paladin appeared in the assignments window, and I could assign blessings for him to cast, but the other paladin did not.
Every paladin in the raid have to have PallyPower installed in order to work together.
Also, could the assignment report feature include which class each paladin is supposed to cast each blessing on? I'd like to be able to use the report to inform other raid members who to yell at if they're missing a blessing, but as it stands the report feature isn't really very useful for this.
For this purpose i actually made a small addon for non paladins called PallyPowerInfo which allows players to see who is supposed to buff them and which blessing. Furthermore I'm in the progress of extending this so that players can request individual blessings.
My first post on this forum ever and I have been reading it for a long time now.
Anyway, I have been using PP basicly since it came out and I have always beeing missing one thing and that it is a reminder to rebless when the buffs are about to expire.

Is it something someone could arranged?
I have though of that as well, but it raises quite a few questions actually. Who should be buffed when? Should it pick groups where people are out of range? Should it pick people with 1 min left? etc

The last PP update has timers colored based on the time remaining, should be good enough indication for expiring buffs. After 2.2 patch with increased blessing lengths it should not be a big issue at all.
I love PallyPower. Hands down the best pally buffing tool out of the dozen or so I've run in the past two years.
Feature request: I tried slapping in some of the code from other single-class mods out there to make PP disable itself automatically when I play one of my non-pally alts. I'm not a LUA coder so I've had no success. Would you consider adding in such code? Yeah, I know the little button is, well, little. I'm just one of those OCD types that wants a minimal interface tailored to each class I play. Thanks.

Maybe people might want to be able to assign blessings for the paladins? or just see what blessings paladins buff. You just just uncheck pallypower at the character selection screen for non paladins and it's gone :)

If you're not playing a paladin character all you need is to turn off the anchor icon from options menu. In addition you can diable it from the same menu, In this mode PP stops processing events and does absolutely nothing.

Yes, I know I could do that manually. However, I'd prefer not to. Hence the request.

Thanks! That's exactly what I want. I must have overlooked this option.
I have updated AssignPlayerAsClass now so that greater blessings are used when possible, the same buffers from greater blessings are now used for normal blessings when no optimizaions can be made and dragging a player to it's own class now reset it.

Yeah the color changes are good and indeed with 30 min blessings it will be a smaller issue but I think a clear visual or sound warning would help as I think many of us forgot to rebless sometimes or espcially the special feral kids or dps warriors.

I don't know how it is in your guild, but my mates don't really like it to be spamed with things they don't care much about.
But okay, it's nothing that prevents me from using this addon, so thanks for your response.
