There will be times you want to know GatherMate's tooltip in the absence of any Blizzad dots. Particularly if there are 3 green circles on top of each other, and you want to know what 3 herbs those are.
In any case, adding the button to toggle the minimap display of GatherMate will solve both issues. This toggle button is also a feature of Gatherer anyway, something I did find handy back in the days.
Then perhaps you should become crazy enough to read all the options in the gathermate config screen. -grin-
This option is already there, under when to show tracking circles, select the "Only while tracking" option. :)

yeah, so its not the circles i want to see, its the icon. I want to see a circle for the herb thast is near me and an icon (not circle) If I select the only while tracking i get only one set; herbs or mining. what I want is herbs to show cirles and mining to show icons (or vise versa).

Since I wanted this for treasure nodes too. What I did was set it to 'always show' and then have herbing set to 'only with profession'. This seems to do what I want. Mind you I'm not a dwarf, so not sure if this would work since dwarfs can track treasure.

That would work until I tracked mining and the herbs disappeared.
My main problem with seeing all the circles (mining, herbs, fishing and treasure) Is that it is hard for me, being color blind, to find four really distinguishing colors that I wont confuse. When the node icons show when Im not tracking it is really obvious when I need to switch to tracking something else.
I'm having some trouble with nodes in places where theres no ground and also places where there wouldn't be a mine. It just started today when i was going to re import the gathermate data to start fresh with the nodes. I'm including a nagrand picture with nodes in the bottom left corner way off the map. anyone have an idea what the issue is?
Edit: maybe it's just the info from wowhead. In that case I tried importing the info from cartographer but the option isn't in gathermate like it was before...
About MBB:
I want to add GatherMatePin to the ignore list of MBB. I'm not sure if it is possible. I see the textual format for it is "GatherMatePin"..pinCount ,,and No.8 means "Windy Cloud". How can I get a list of the pincount?

The problem is with wowhead data. Many people upload fake data to wowhead and other websites and they pass through the filters. When we datamine them, we get these "impossible nodes" as well. The solution is really just to ignore them, and/or right click on each one to delete it from your database.

MBB was already updated months ago to ignore GatherMate minimap pins.
I've set the option to make the tracker Circle totally invisible, but the actual herb/node icon on the minimap stays there, and covers the yellow dot, making the yellow dot hard to see.
how can i make the herb or node icon disappear as well, if i'm in range of seeing a yellow dot?
i have the alpha set on the tracker circle to make it invisible.
so when im flying around looking for nodes, even if i'm right on top of a node, i wont see a circle which is how i like it.
but i still see the icon on top of the yellow dot, which makes the yellow dot very hard to see.
i'll try to grab a ss today or tomorrow though :)
You can't actually have the tracker circle's alpha at zero, since you can't modify the transparency of the mini-map objects, you can have the circle disabled though. One thing you could do is set 'Show Tracking Circle' to 'Only while tracking' and then set Tracking distance to 50 (the shortest GM will allow). This will allow you to be able to see the icon up until you're practically on top of it.
GMSD is the addonprefix for the guildsharing-function, isnt it?
And why do you use your own prefix? you could have used gatherers method of broadcasting as well so both addons would be compatible ;)

I have no idea what you are talking about.
Glad I'm not the only one that said huh....
M= Graphic of Node
O= Circle around Node

I'm pretty sure I had cart installed and enabled. anyways is there any way to clean up the nodes from wowhead?
