I'd like for Inline Aura to display the stack size and remaining duration of the Arcane Blast debuff inside the Arcane Blast button, but as far as I can see there doesn't seem to be an option to check for debuffs on the player, only on the target.
If I set Beacon of Light on myself, and target another raid member, the timer disappears. Which is rather annoying, can't seem to find a way to tweak it.
Excuse me if this has been posted, but I'm in a hurry and wasn't able to read the thread.
IA, btw, is a godsend.
Ok, with 3.1.2 I was planning on going Destruction spec for primary raid dps, but one thing that was throwing me off was that IA wasn't able to recognize and function for the cooldowns of both Conflagrate or Chaos Bolt. I even went in and created a custom filter for both spells and yet still nothing. Having functionality for these two spells would once again place IA at the top of my most valued addons.
Thanks so much and if there is something in the existing addon I could do to attain it I'm all ears.
Edited: I just read that if its not a buff or debuff, then IA can't help me. So in this case, what recommendations does anyone have for me when I am trying to play Destruction. Btw, I use Dominos + IA normally. Thanks

You are trying to track the cooldown of abilities. Inline Aura shows you the time left on buffs and debuffs.
You mentioned that you used Dominoes. The author of that, Tuller, did OmniCC which will show you the cooldowns of your abilities in a numerical form on the ability button. http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info4836-OmniCC.html . You can use this in combination with IA.
I think you have the wrong SpellId. Heroic Strike is -> http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=78 . Looks like 41975 goes to a Heroic Strike that's used by a Black Temple mob? Maybe it doesn't matter. Also, this is overly nit-picky, but the Glyph of Revenge makes your next Heroic Strike cost zero rage, not be instant.
Is there a way to make IA display the number of stacks on the Mage ability Combustion? It doesn't seem to do that out of the box.
Hmm, I'll respec a mage alt later and check. Make sure that you do not have the option "no application count" selected.
edit: Wow Combustion is pretty odd. It doesn't show how many criticals you've done. Doesn't look like it's something IA would be able to display without monitoring the combat log events for you doing a fire damage spell critical.

Yeah, correct regarding instant vs zero rage, sorry. As for the spellid, I captured the number from the combat log using one of my mods that sounds an audio alert for various auras. Couple that with the fact that inline aura is now showing a timer on heroic strike after revenge, it's working to my satisfaction :)
I really can't say enough great things about inline aura. I absolutely love it on my lock. It's an excellent interface that doesn't clutter the screen with timer bars.

Skimmed back a few pages in the thread so apologies if I missed a comment/reply about this...
Would it be possible to get per-spell options for the *timer* of a spell, rather than just for the application count? I don't much need to know whether I've got 24 or 49 minutes left on Gift/Mark, but it would be nice to see timers on shorter stuff like Savage Roar. Even a maximum duration to show timers for would be useful. I remember seeing an add-on on Curse months back that adjusted OmniCC's files to get that effect but I can't find it now.

There must be some way to get a stack number from the API since buff frames addons do it.
Doesn't Combustion give you 3 stacks of the buff, and remove 1 stack each time you get a crit? It's been about 3 years since I played a mage, but that's what it used to do...
The only thing missing for me is the ability to set a vertical (or horizontal for that matter) offset for the countdown text.
It is sometimes hard for me to see the application count because it is partly hidden behind the countdown text.
It would be awesome if I could move the normal countdown in the upper left and the application text in the lower right corner.

Thanks for an excellent mod!

The addons I looked at monitored combat log events for spell crits, checked their damage type (fire), then adjusted combustion. Like -> http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info9619-CombustionTracker.html
