As mentioned in the help, gatherer is not supported to add new nodes automatically to the route. 2 Questions about this, of which I could not seem to find the answer:
- Do you know if there are any plans from gatherer to implement callbacks for routes ?
- Is there a manual way to regenerate a route ? If the answer is no, as I expect, it would be great to have such. For now I need to delete a route and recreate it to incorporate new gatherer nodes.
No, there is no manual route regeneration. I would also like to see this feature, as after importing data into GatherMate, existing routes are not updated to include newly added nodes.
As for Gatherer, you'd probably want to ask on the Gatherer site, not here. :P

Ok, so I know that you've stated before that it would be impossible to create routes from self-created notes, like the ones created through cartographer_notes, but I was wondering if it would be at all possible to be able to create routes bu hand via a mechanism similar to the one to create taboo regions?
My apologies if I missed the answer to this somewhere in the many pages, but on the first post it is mentioned that "FuBar_RoutesFu" would work with Routes, but I can't seem to get it working. If I don't have Cartographer installed (removed cart and replaced it with the routes+gathermate+mapster combo) then "FuBar_RoutesFu" just throws me all sorts of errors and doesn't load.
If you're getting errors, post the errors. We can't magically detect what errors you're getting, but the actual error messages would probably tell us exactly why you're having a problem.
Looks like Xinhuan forgot to embed LibRockConfig-1.0 in RoutesFu. I've done so, and you should see an update to RoutesFu (and no more error message) within 20 minutes.
Same issue here with Gathermate when trying to create a route for herbs in Blade's Edge Mountains, Shadowmoon Valley, Terokkar Forest and maybe others, I didn't test every zone. It works fine for Hellfire Peninsula and Zangarmarsh.
Everything's OK with Cartographer + Cartographer_Herbalism.

According to WowHead, Bound Adamantite Chest can be found only in dungeons so they should'nt appear in a route. So I've commented line 335 and now it works !
Thank you very much !

This issue is now fixed in GatherMate, thanks for the report and testing!

This is actually not an error. Fubar_RoutesFu has a hard required dependency on FuBar, which in turn already comes with LibRockConfig-1.0 library. It is likely that jwvanderbeck is using an old Ace2 version of FuBar (which is called FuBar2 on wowace), rather than the Rock version (which is just called FuBar).

I presume there are plans to upgrad Routes to work on WotLK. I'm in the beta and invoking routes returns an AceGUI-3.0 widget error. Would be happy to help.

You will need to obtain a copy of the Ace3 libraries that are compatible with WotLK. Routes is itself still working in WotLK, although it doesn't have data for the new Northrend zones yet.
While I do not get an error, its a problem nonetheless.
Normally I use Routes to generate say a Herbing Path in Terokar Forest for Terocone. And I use the "Use Waypoint" Feature. Now everything is fine until it hits a waypoint that doesn't registering me hitting it. It gets stuck on that way point, will not move on the the next waypoint. I am sorry if this has been answered already, but I did not see this answered on the previous pages.
Anevers, this problem might occur if you upgrade your herb database via importing/backup or other methods. What is likely to have happened is that you have a node in your route that doesn't exist in your herb database anymore. Try deleting and recreating the problematic route.
Xinhuan, something that would be really nice would be some method to refresh an existing route without having to delete and recreate it. I would expect to need to redo clustering and optimization, but it's rather tedious to have to redefine data to include in a route, and change settings like line color, simply because my data changed. :P

When the table is reversed, you can't have 2 sames keys, so only one is kept (the last one).
However the translation is right (according to WowHead) so we'll just have to tweak it a bit. For instance :
Hope this helps.
Edit : According to LaLorelei's post, it's better to change the line 335.

This might be implemented in the *far* future.
