Hi there! Im in love with chatter from the 1st use :)
And apart from popular "Please! make main name appear to the left from alts name, not the opposite!" request, I just noticed that It doesnt allow me to type in cyrillic (russian etc), only "?" appears and nothing more (after pressing enter all that i typed are visible in chat) so its only edit box problem. Can this be fixed?
The field where you type you chatcommands is transparent, so for me it's very difficult to read what i'm writing. can i have a dark /black background there somehow?

there are settings for the edit box background. i made mine solid black.
Ive ran across a peculiar issue.
Edit Box Polish. I have my background color settings to as dark as possible with 100% opacity (cant see through it).
Log out and back in, the opacity is set to 80.
re set it again, try /rl same thing back to 80. Not a show stopper by any means, but id much prefer to have it solid.
FYI, (I dont know if it has any relavance) I do have my chat frame itself set with borders and backgrounds disabled.
Ill dinker with the settings there so see if it causes any difference, but figured Id post about the anomaly.
Thanks again.
EDIT: Dinkering with the backgrounds on the chat frame had no relevance.
I've just set up chatter for the 1st time and have one question: How do I get the most recent thing typed in chat NOT to show up in a slightly larger font than the rest of chat. The most recent post always appears slightly bigger than the rest of chat until the next message appears. Any help?
Can't find an option to decrease edit box's width.
Do you plan on implementing it or did I just missed it somewhere?
To change the width click on the right edge of the editbox and drag left or right. Make sure you have it set to "Free-Floating" or you won't be able to change it. Once everything is setup the way you want set it to "Free Floating, Locked" to prevent accidental movement.
I have an interresting chatter problem: Initial chat output from b4 Chatter loads is not shown. So if for instance there is error or log output from a mod that loads earlier, it seems to get cut off.

With Prat or ChatMod you can see ? sign in the chat when someone writes it. With Chatter you just see a ?. Would it be possible to do the same?

It's the Scrollback module that does that. I disabled it on mine, but I'll take a look at it when I get a chance.
Thanks for the feedback.
Really appreciated if you can fix this. It doesn't make WoW unplayable, but it's just very annoying.
/salute
There is a response about 5-8 posts above your question :)
If it is could someone please explain it to me as I can't find the option.

The module should be disabled by default, I'll add a note to the options warning about the issue until a suitable workaround can be devised.
I see the disable Fade option, but just to changed the time shorter/longer?
