Plasma: Once I expand thresholds & filters, it will optionally show gold earned.
Devla (And anyone with the same error): New revision up, hopefully fixes this. Hard to test without being in a group... <scurries around westfall killing more boars>... The boars have given so much to this mod.... So many intestines and heads. So many.
Cal: Seems like I was wrong, even though you were out of date. try this latest revision and tell me if it still doesn't work, it's more of a dirty fix then figuring out why it's doing it
Thanks for the quick fixes and the quick reply. Was going to post the error for anchoring to itsef but someone beat me to it. At any rate, will download revisions now and try them out tomorrow or Saturday night. Since you are talking about storing loot data/history, making this a seperate, LoD addon would be nice =). Perhaps have a start/end/reset session option as well so we can record loot tables (with player names/class) tables.
In all honesty, I might not do any advanced data recording. There's mods that do that already, they do it better, and I really burn out fast trying to re-invent the wheel. (See: Class Master Looter, Looto, RaidTracker, etc..)
For example, I've spent eight hours on XLootMaster tonight and it's not functional in the least, I'm convinced it's so inefficient Tekkub has already smacked me and I just haven't felt it yet, and I'm probably just going to start over from EML....
So I'll try to finish a quick and effective ML list, but then I'm going back to working on XLoot Monitor, Group, and Boss, or however it works out.

No errors with current build.
Any plan to make a scrollable window instead of individual items?
Is XLootMonitor going to be sort of a replacement for CT_Raidtracker? I only use tracker for keeping track of loot and as sort of a database of loot of all raids i have been in. I do not use it for DKP tracking, just personal use.
Dunno if XLootMonitor has an option of saving between sessions. Being able to do that with XLootMonitor would mean another non aced addon gone :-)
Using version r13119 from svn doesn't snap the loot window to the cursor even though the option is checked. I tried unchecking and checking it but still doesn't snap to cursor.
Cal: Scrollable is a idea, it pretty much defeats the concept since you can create a FCF with only loot already.. Different visual styles (Aside from options mimicing XLoot) will be available when I get the time to get them done. If you have any idea for styles (Frame backdrops, layouts, alignments, directions, features, even mockups) be sure to tell me. Aim for something not already implimented and you'll have a higher chance of me wanting to do it =)
Gendji: No, it won't be that. There's a decent replacement just for loot tracking already, with saving between sessions, and it has a fubar plugin. "Looto", It's on Curse, and possibly WoWi and ui.WoW. I know it's not Ace'd, but if you need to track loot it works well. I know it would mean another Ace'd addon, but please read this post by industrial. I'm not frustrated, but it does argue the ace vs non-aced very well.
Velveeta: XLoot itself? Please make sure you don't have any other loot-snapping mods enabled, but otherwise it should work just fine. Please list all your behavior options as they appear currently, including the "Locked" setting and I'll see what I can do.
Any chance to have an option that could print the loot out to any chat (/ra, /s, /p, /g, /y, /rw)? This could be very helpful while things are on master loot so you can report it to the group. It would also help with those pesty people sitting outside the raid that demand for loot to be linked in guild.
Tried the XLootMonitor, but it takes up way too much space...
Think a smaller frame with thinner lines would be better (scrollable of course). Would very much like to see how many are selecting need or greed or passed, and an option to hide all the rollinfo from chatframe, and then of course list who got the item after the rolling :)
bwuser: I'll be adding that to XLoot when I get Monitor functional again (Surprised there aren't any errors in svn version, really o_0). Should be soon, I just finished a partial re-write which fixed positioning and greatly expanded options, the menus for which I'm working on right now... >_<
Spiralis: Yeah, it's big and clunky right now I fully admit. Scrollable could be interesting seeing as the rows are generated and recycled, but could work...
When all is said and done, it'll have very detailed display options which in a ideal world will bleed into XLoot's appearance since both are constructed similarly :)
Also, since I've worked my ass in circles making sure stacks aren't hardcoded, once I get a simple loot list, adding events to the parser and handlers for the added group loot events will be much easier. =). Keep the suggestions coming, I like the "How many have needed/greeded/passed" (perhaps with roll info shown in a attached tooltip, think: EquipCompare) greatly =D
Hi, I'm finding when using cleafont and this mod the smaller texts (namely the ones describing the loot type) get 'crushed' and don't look as good as normal.
Now this also happened to the numbers on the hp bars (and items like Dead/Offline) for perfectraid, and it would be fixed by commenting out 'font:SetTextHeight(10)'. However I'm not sure where similar code would be in xloot. Any ideas?
scae: XLoot & XLM inherit fonts from GameFontNormalSmall, I don't set them myself. I use the clearfont font myself but not the mod. I find it works extremely well :)
Otherwise I'll look at adding a option for it, if you have another suggestion to fix it.
<Deep sigh> Monitor 0.4 released, major rewrites in all departments and fixing of all known bugs.
Changelog is such:
Complete rework of row stacking, all known bugs fixed.
-Much more precise positioning of rows, row-specific spacing, timeout, and threshold
Major rework of options menus.
Added quality threshold for both own loot and everyone else's loot.
[X needs sleep]
I haven't put in any cool themes or colors or coloring or advanced row layout yet, but rows actually stack properly, have detailed options menus per stack (Looking forward to future stacks, such as Group Loot, or Boss Loot..)
If you encounter any bugs, please tell me. :)
Next on the stack of To-Do's in no particular order:
XLoot Monitor - Scrolling. This promises to be interesting.
XLoot Monitor - Group. Group will not be separate from monitor. While the stacking code is modular, it's not portable enough to shift into a library [yet]
XLoot Master - Reinventing the wheel sucks, but it needs to be done.
XLoot & XL Monitor - Appearances. Sync/provide equivalents all display options (borders, backgrounds), add new options (Highlight loot frame based on quality, for example), add new layouts (First on Monitor)
Translation files for both XLoot and Monitor are in their respective folders, inside the localization.enUS.lua file. If you want to translate this into your own language (Which would be wonderful!), please PM me a copy of the translated file and I will include it in the next build!
Used 0.4 last night for ZG run, then some DM and UBRs fun. Works like a charm. Stacking was being handled very neatly and it certainly feels like it has that nice 'polish' on it now =). I will continue to do things that try and break it and keep you informed.
Hey,
Can someone give me the headsup on what XLootMonitor actually does?
I searched this entire thread and all I know as of yet is 'Live loot list'. Is there any screens or so, I couldn't find the wiki page for it at all. :)

i asked the same question just one page back (reply 152) and X gave a great answer.
Roartindon: Thanks a bunch for that fix, I never would've caught it myself. =)
Cinedelle: Also thanks =D. If there's anything not clear enough to translate, I probably need to change it anyway, just post it here.
Otherwise, XLootMonitor is stable (Barring additional anchor options). It now optionally displays money, it will merge new items into the newest row if it's the same (3x [Wool Cloth] instead of 2x [Wool Cloth] then [Wool Cloth]) and show the added number next to the row in green (eg +1)
This means! I can start working on the other things that have gotten pushed back continually, such as Group, Master, and Sync :)

If I disable Onebag/Onebank then everything is fine, I'll post this in the Onebag forum. Sorry but I wasn't getting the error message before.
