XLoot will occasionally bug out when shift-right click is used to loot here as well. Far from always, though, so it took the lives of quite a few innocent Troggs to bring you this image of the error. Ah well, they died for a good cause...
Basically, it's a loot window that's empty of loot that lingers on until closed manually. I've absolutely no clue why this happens or why it'll only happen on maybe one looting in twenty.
Thanks everyone who's reported on this :) It seems like a official bug, everyone's been having it. For now what I'm going to do is add another check to see if the frame should close after it's updated. That SHOULD catch it, unless GetNumLootItems() is not returning right.
New version is up, first post link. New feature: Dropdown option menu when border is right-clicked, or when buttons are alt-right-clicked.Does NOT include fix for ghosting bar yet.
I had some odd behaviour with the shift-click looting and empty loot frames last night myself... it would never "clear" the body, as if I had never opened a loot frame. At oune point my ESC key stopped working, I started breaking my own traps cause I couldn't cancel auto-shot. Had to disable the mod and reloadui ><
great addon thank you for clarifying the newest version as others have mentioned shift+click to loot all items does result in a ghost loot window as displayed, which manually has to be turned off, otherwise it's just fine, really clear text, crisp, nice addon and substitute to "QuickLoot". Thanks again
When I start up WoW with XLoot activated I get the following error message:
"Interface\AddOns\XLoot\XLoot.lua:5:Cannot find a library instance of Dewdrop-2.0"
Version that I tried was XLoot-11536. Any help what might be wrong would be appreciated. Seems like a very nice addon.

You should try to add an onevent (chatmsg loot) checker if loots = the number of the loots of the mob then hide ALL the frame.
There seems to be some lag when you shift-loot. Its really noticeable when you shiftloot something with 3-4 items. I'm guessing it happens because xloot is checking and creating 2nd line information (junk, dagger, boot, etc) or something.
Since shiftlooting by default is just "give it all to me, quick quick quick!" detect the shift-rclick and not run most of the features?
I love this addon so far except for one thing, is there a way to make it so that the width of the loot frame matches the width of the longest item? It drives me crazy when stuff gets cut off.
I also have the not working escape key problem (without shift-looting).
I also had the ESC key stop working for me last night. I tried to reproduce it but couldn't. I checked keybindings and it was still set, and a console reload did give it back to me. However, after a random amount of looting, it stopped working again.
Also! My warrior is a fairly inadequate example of XLoot no matter how much I like her, so if you have any in-game shots of XLoot in action, go ahead and post them with your suggestions, I'll need some when submitting it to worldofwar/wowui/the works.
Thank you both for the screenshots :) When I get time I'll put them on the Wiki.
I've gotten caught by FeatureCreep today, and I've been working through finding a fix to these bugs with each revision that's silently hit the SVN. I'm hoping to get a release out within the next hour or two, and if that doesn't fix the problem I'm going to ~whaleslap the frame hiding code into submission =)
New version up! Fixes, features, fun stuff. Link in the first post!(Only four hours late <.<)
Features
Expand/shrink frames horizontally to fit long/short item names. Behavior->Fit frame width to loot names
Enable/Disable dropdown settings menu on alt-right-click on loot (for mod compatability). Behavior->Show menu on Alt+RightClick
If the Escape-lock issue comes back, please post here after you make sure you're using the latest version! I hope this will fix this, but honestly I haven't done... much... playing.... since I started working on XLoot ;)
graet looking and handy addon ... /thank
No other issue so far.
I almost always shft+right click... and have yet to have this issue you describe occur.

Maybe this will do?

Also it seems the expanding for loot text size works, but it doesn't work when I loot something with just money on it.
