I'd like to have only one button with all elixirs and flasks. I thought that the Battle and Guardian Elixirs used to do that. Also could we PRETTY PLEASE get:

I think the Buff Button has them all along with non elixers.

I deliberately mention the revision number because the script that makes them available for wau or files.wowace.com only runs every 20 minutes. If you only see an older revision then you need to wait.

I decided to upgrade today to the newest version of AutoBar. Having been reading this thread for the past couple of weeks I knew that it was another rewrite/reorg and that I'd have to recreate my old settings (which was mostly just what was enabled and where the bar was located).
So I did delete the AutoBar Addon folder as well as ALL AutoBar.lua files from the SavedVariables in the WTF folder.
I think I like the new organization. I'll see over the next few days/week if it is working as I expect it to.
Anyway, The Class Buff button for my Mage wasn't really organized the way I'd like it.
What would have sufficed would have been if I could have gotten Arcane Intellect to stay as the 1st button, so that I didn't have to hover and then move over to find it. (My Mage is lvl 40 and I think Mage Armor is the default 1st button that keeps coming up)
I realized that what I actually wanted was the things in the Class Buff button to be split into 2 buttons. Button 1 would be Buffs that can be applied to any friendly target, and Button 2 would be Buffs that only apply to me or my party.
So I attempted to create a new button with only Arcane Intellect in it, but I failed miserably. :-(
1st I tried to create a new button on my Mage's class bar by using the New button when the "Buttons" under Mage was selected.
I got a Custom1 button which I changed to Shared "Class".
(btw what is the difference between the "Delete" and "Remove" buttons I see when editing this button's properties?)
It defaulted to category Healthstone. I couldn't figure out an appropriate category (I tried Buff: Caster Target, but that didn't seem to include anything)
So I figured I needed a new Category.
I Clicked on the New button under Categories, and a Custom1 shows up. Under Custom1 there is an Items which just has a New button, so I click that.
Now under Items is a 1. When that's selected I see a little package icon. I open up my Spellbook and attempt to drag Arcane Intellect onto the package icon. The "1" Changes to say Arcane Intellect although the package icon stays a package (it does not change to the arcane intellect icon).
Now I went back to the New button I had added to the Class bar, and this time the new Custom1 category is in the list and I select it.
OK this is all working now. (I was going through these steps again as I was writing this message, and now it seems to work. Cool.)
One thing I just figured out that I was having problems with, was changing the Name from Custom1 to "Mage Buff Others". I'd type it in the edit control then click on something else and what I typed would be lost. I just figured out that to confirm the new name I have to hit enter before clicking somewhere else.
I'm posting this anyway because it'd be nice if these class buffs could be split out in this way, and perhaps the steps I've enumerated above will help someone else do the same thing.
Anyway thanks again for an incredibly useful addon.

hello there, I've been getting interface action failed because of an addon. It might be a timing issue with ace-event, or ace-event itself? the taint log shows the following, I guess for each button (I truncated it).

Update spells should only happen if your spell book changes, you learn new spells etc. It should not be firing during combat either. What are you doing when this happpens?
Before I go wiping out my saved variables and setting everything up again, does anyone have any idea how I might fix my tooltip position for the Autobar tooltips?
I use Tiptac to reposition my tooltips and until now had all the Autobar tooltips turned off, but I turned them back on since there's the "hide tooltips in combat" option now. The Autobar tooltip is in a position where my Tiptac tooltip used to be, but I have since moved it to a new location. I tried resetting all my Tiptac settings, but it doesn't seem to have helped.
I tried looking for any tooltip related options in the config or in the Autobar saved variables, but I don't see anything obvious.
clean out my ui, reupdated using no-ext, and logged in to see autobar gone and complaining about babble-zone2.0 or something, turns out its not longer on the svn, and there is only a babble-zone3.0 or something, i know thats not the exact spelling of the them but i think you should know what im talking about. even when i have babble-zone3.0 autobar still wont load, and complains about missing it even if im using 3 instede of 2.
edit: just going to use embeds, for those people wondering how to fix this. please update this to use 3 though so i dont have to resort to embeds just to use this mod :P

Please turn off disembedding. Disembedding is strictly NOT for you. Disembedding is only for powerusers, ie people that know what they are doing, what a dependency is, and how to fix dependency issues. In your WAU preferences make sure the only thing checked on the left side of the preferences panel is "Default mode WITH externals".

AutoBar saved settings have nothing to do with tooltip position. All AutoBar does is use Blizzard APIs to set the tooltip item when you hover over a button. It is up to tooltip mods to then place that tooltip some place other than the default location.
For instance, I use CowTip and I have it placing tooltips far right middle. I see the tooltip there for the vast majority of my mods, except for mods that overide the tooltip location and place the tip right by the cursor object. For instance, Bartender3 has the exact same behaviour: the tooltips go where cowtip tells them to.
Now I am certainly no expert on tooltips. But your tooltip mod author is. Please post on their forum. If they find incorrect tooltip code in AutoBar they can contact me.

Since you don't know how to fix this very simple problem yourself id say diembedding is not something you should be playing with.
(all one would need to do to fix that would be to download an embeded version and diembed it oneself)

Delete is only an option for a Custom Button that you yourself created. It completely deletes it for all characters. Remove is an option for all Buttons including the built in ones. It removes it from Bar's it may be on.

not really, i have other addons that show me cooldown information. basically i only want to see the bars when i press the alt key or hover my mouse over them. also i have set keyboard shortcuts to some buttons on the autobar like the combo healing potion and health stone
I was cleaning up my addon folder and removed Babble-2.2 as I didn't find any reference to it anymore. Apparently AutoBar still needs this although it is not listed in X-Embeds or OptionalDeps. It is referenced int AutoBarSearch.lua at Line 18.

r71687 reverts the tracking button code. It should work for all classes under all conditions now.
I think the Buff Button has them all along with non elixers.

The buttons from extra and class that I added to basic (pet, class pet, pet food, aspects and fishing) are not showing, though.
And since I haven't said that here yet - thanks for an awesome mod!
