alpha version is looking good so far. There's one issue i encountered on my mage: i tried making a button that shows all non-bonus food. While all "normal" food categories look fine, the category Food:Mage conjured is always linked to the buttons that are used to conjure food. There seems to be no category which only has the food but not the spell buttons. Maybe you would like to add this or i'll just have to make my custom category.
I keep having some problem where my autobar buttons dont update unless I reloadui, any ideas?
Down at the bottom what does it say in brackets next to "standby"? Please share your results here as I want to get to the bottom of this.

BTW, when can we expect Phoenix Hatchling and White Hawkstrider?
These are both in the alpha already...

Might just be me missing something, but profiles dun seem to be working properly. When i make changes on my priest the mages bar gets messed up, and the other way around.
This is correct. By default Bars have their shared settings as account wide (global). A Bar has 3 aspects it can independently share: Position, Layout, Buttons. The setting for each of these can be to share with Account, Class, or None.
In most cases you can leave these as Account. From the sounds of it you have some things you want different between Mages and Priests or perhaps just between your two characters. Who knows what so I will make up some examples.
1) You like identical Layouts across all characters, so you keep Shared Layout to be Account.
2) Your Priest needs room for raid frames so its Shared Position is set to Class. Moving the Bar around on your Priest will thus only affect other Priests you have on your account. The Position for your Mage remains unchanged and is still shared with other characters that have Shared Position set to Account.
3) Your Mage is a frost Mage because you like to pwn noobs in arena. You want to add all your frost spells to the Basic Bar. So for Shared Buttons you set it to None on your Mage. Changes to the Buttons for that bar are thus only for your Mage and will affect no other character, including your little sister's Mage who is all fire specced for raiding anyway.
Wow ok Im an idiot I have no idea how autobar got set to standby but that seems to be the reason for my problem. I gues sI never noticed because things like fishing and potions still worked .. in fact I guess the fact that bar showed at all never gave me the idea to check that.
That fixed it. It must be set to suspended by default 'cause I didn't suspend it. Thanks :)
Well, there is also an "Enabled" checkbox on the main settings page. Perhaps it is getting clicked by accident? It is the same flag as standby. I am beyond amused at the idiocy of this setting. The next version removes it if AutoBar is active, also it sets AutoBar to active if it is not already so.

I don't remember unchecking that... but I've been known to do dumber things. It's like a brand new addon now. :)
Hi, I'm using the latest alpha (2.04.01.41) and there seems to be a problem with the buttonlist sharing or better the not sharing of buttons.
i got 3 chars, rogue, mage and paladin and only use the basic bar, so i set the button share option for all 3 charaters to none, however if i change the hearthstone to not show on rogue or paladin it also disappears for the mage, same with the mainhandbuff slot which gets activated on mage/paladin if i switch it on with the rogue.

Looks like I noobed something in there. I'll take a look at it later on today. I need to fix buttons too which seem to suffer a similar problem.
For example I've recently leveled leatherworking for Drums and the way it's used in melee group is in rotations (with 4+ people with drums you can keep the effect up all the time), where everyone uses macros like this:
/use Drums of Battle
/p Drums used! Bla is next
/p Drums used! Bla is next
Doesn't look like Autobar currently supports dragging macro buttons as custom buttons :( And using drums directly does not invoke a macro.
