Hi, let me first start by saying I really love this addon - thanks for making it!
I am having an issue with my death knight class bar - it doesn't have anything in it, and I'm not sure if it should by default or if I need to manually add stuff. My husband said he had tried to manually add skills but that didn't work for him. I am spec'd unholy and would like to add some of the talent-specific skills for easy access. If you have any insight into what I can/need to do I would appreciate it!
Since WotLK there seems to be a problem with the cooking and alchimist buttons on deDE clients. Blizzard somehow decided that the grand master ranks are named "Alchemie" and "Kochen" instead of "Alchimie" and "Kochkunst", as the lower ranks are named. So, after reaching Grand Master in them both icons disappear from the professions button.
There also seems to be some disorder in the quest item buttons while rearranging them. Sometimes the icons rearrange but the functionality does not, so during some quests I was using the wrong item, which in some cases was fatal, like the Drakuru quest line in Zul'Drak. I could not find out under which circumstances this happens, it is not easy to reproduce.
Sorry that I am not more helpful here. If I can do something to help figuring it out, just tell me and I'll gladly do.
...death knight class bar - it doesn't have anything in it...
It has nothing in it because my death knight has so far descended on the first village and wreaked mayhem but thats it.
What is missing? For instance I imagine there are buffs that ought to go into the class buff button.
Anything that works like a hunter trap / aura where you need to choose only one amongst several spells is a good candidate for a button as well. Perhaps several rune buttons similar to shaman totem buttons?

I put up a new beta that may fix this. Let me know.
You can mess with the code if necessary by searching AutoBarCategory.lua for "GermanCraftingWithANewNameForNoReasonWhatsoever". A previous report had a lower rank as where the issue started so the code had not fixed anything so far.
The issue with it not always arranging buttons during combat will linger till I can clean up the way that is all done.

You could put Rune Tap, Runeforging, and Raise Dead on there. DK's have no manual self buffs.
*Only a very narrow path of creating a custom category, adding it to a button and moving the button around on the bars has been tested so far.
*You can drag & drop to rearrange items in the custom category. This does not work for custom macros yet though.
*Ctrl-click on an item to delete it.
*Items can be dragged in from Macro & Spell UI, and action bars. "Active" items (in a players bags or known spells for the current class) can also be dragged from the custom category ui to action bars or some other UI that accepts regular Blizzard drags.
I am sure there are many issues, but feel free to report anything that prevents you from using this.
Apparently you've switched to ldb instead of fubar (which is a good thing IMO) but checking autobar directory and toc I've found that:
AutoBarFuBar.lua is still there but not referenced in the toc (should be removed from the directory I think)
TabletLib and FuBarPlugin-2.0 are still embeded and referenced in X-embeds but not used anymore (except AutoBarFubar.lua which is not used anymore)
TabletLib, FuBarPlugin-2.0 and FuBar are still referenced in OptionalDeps but should not I think

Actually, he's supporting both.. Which imo is.. nuts.. LDB.. only.. adapt or die..

The fubar support is in the AutoBarFuBar.lua file which is no more referenced in TOC, and it's this file that referenced FubarPlugin-2.0 and Tablet-2.0 so it might be good to remove all those as they are no more used. :)
The "Water" category includes "Conjure Water". I want that spell to be on a separate button from my consumable water. This is possible with food, why not water?

It is on its way out. I am just very conservative with these file changes. I try to add stuff in a cycle before they get used, and remove them after they are no longer needed. This helped a bit before on wowace to cut down on the inevitable disembeded issues.

The food case was test code. It turned out to be very ugly so I postponed it till after the switch to an Ace3 config.
.. Ace3 libs are in... and so are the ace2 counterparts.

Bone Shield? Maybe Lichborne? :) (Runeforging is available among the profession buttons)
A Raise Dead Button is a good idea. Ill add that to the todo list. Rune tap seems like something you need on your regular action bar.
Bone Shield added. Lichborne seems like a regular action bar spell.
First cut at an Ace3 config.

there's no Ace3 libs in the package, tho they are referenced in the embeds.xml. check your .pkgmeta file.. heh

Good point. Checked in a fix for that.

:)
Correct, the switch is only partially completed.
