The new MiniMap button has no option to put it on FuBar and the "Show on minimap" checkbox is backward (checked hides it, unchecked shows it).
Apparently its more like fubar has no option to use DataBroker objects. I think broker2fubar solves the issue.
Also, consider using Fortress, Titan or some other DataBroker mod...
The icon disable thing was already fixed but as I just found out the curse updater apparently does not actually get you alpha versions even if you enable that setting. I will push a lot more betas till that gets fixed. So expect a lot of betas that are actually just alphas.
Hello I have 2 of each mount on my autobar; how do I have 1 of each mount? Please forgive me if I have missed something, I do not follow the Autobar thread daily, I read the last 5-10 pages...
1) AutoBar lists the mount spells you can cast, this is the same as your mounts list in the Blizzard UI.
2) AutoBar lists the old-timey mount items in your bags, or any new mounts you get. These are items you click on that teach you the spell.
To use them just click on them. If you have duplicates because Blizzard mailed you duplicates then throw them away.
3) Mounts and Pets are an Arrange on Use Button. The base button is therefore also in the popup list.
Also, consider using Fortress, Titan or some other DataBroker mod...
This statement makes me curious. I've used fubar addons forever, and so I wonder why you remove support for it and then recommend others switch to something else.
FuBar isn't being actively maintained by its author. Instead, various members of the community have been hacking it to keep it working. With LibDataBroker (LDB) addons, you have a choice of which display to use and are not locked into FuBar. LDB also has an easier integration API than LibFuBarPlugin and is considerably lighter in both disk and memory size.
To put it slightly differently and more verbosely: FubarPlugin lets AutoBar show up on the fubar menu and optionally on the minimap. It does not work with non-fubar mods.
Switching to LDB which is rapidly becoming the defacto standard for plugins like those for Titan and Fubar etc. lets me write once and deploy to whatever Display mod you choose to use. You can even use several. I added built in support for the minimap so that you do not have to use anything extra if you dont want to.
There is as mentioned broker2fubar and fubar2broker mods that will convert into and out of fubar while the big switch happens. If you are happy with FuBar you can use broker2fubar to make AutoBar show up in it.
As Torhal mentions Broker is about 70k, and Fubar 500k. (Tekkub's figures. I am sure hes exagerating but you get the idea;-p)
Finally, since I am using Fortress, this lets me treat the mods in it as boxes I can glue together and stick exactly where I want them. So my coords, flight time and mount speed brokers go near the minimap for example. The total space taken up is much less than the single fubar bar I used to have across the screen (thats a ton of wasted real estate on a 30" monitor).
Why would you care about this in general? Well if all the plugins become DataBroker compatible then you can choose the best ones that are written for Titan, FuBar, StatBlocks, etc. They will all work and display together just as you want them to.

Yah, that's a bit of an exaggeration. Here are exact figures:
LibFuBarPlugin-3.0 is 76,417 bytes on disk and contains 2216 lines of code.
LibDataBroker-1.1 is 2,164 bytes on disk and contains 61 lines of code.
For every plugin you are using, depending on its type, one of these will be loaded. The first is locked into FuBar. The second can be shown on any LDB display.
As I haven't seen it mentioned, my tootips are staying onscreen If I whip the mouse across AutoBar that usually removes the stuck tooltip. Also, I read you removed Fubar support, but mine is still there ( I'm d/l from Curse, manually).
If you truly have removed Fubar, please, please reconsider.I have tried the LDB mods and I am not interested. For me they seem complicated.Fortress was the one I really tried to undertstand.
Just a note for people using wowmatrix to "update" their mods. Please do not use this for AutoBar. Wowmatrix has no permission to rip off AutoBar and have been specifically asked not to. They are parasites that provide you with nothing. They do not host the code, they do not help me, they give nothing to this community. In fact their incompetent updater causes me problems and wastes my time on bogus support issues. Just say no.

There are plugins for Fubar (broker2fubar) that lets AutoBar still show up in it...
Think of it more as removing specific fubar only support and instead providing general support for all such mods including fubar.
Mmm, looks like the code to get rid of popups no matter what got broken. I will take a look at that.

broker2fubar :) ,yup that's what is keeping it there.I installed it for Bugsack .
Recently decided to completely remake my ui, and when I tried to set up Autobar from a completely clean install, it's having issues with custom categories. It's not throwing any errors or anything, but when I try to make a custom category with a summon random pet macro, the category will not show up in the list when I try to assign it to a button. I've reloaded the ui and restarted wow and still no custom category
Edit: Okay, found a fix for it. I made a random, nonsense category with just a piece of equipment I grabbed from my bag real quick, and the original pet macro category appeared in the list (the nonsense category wasn't there though).
Also noticed another bug: the custom pet macro isn't displaying the icon I picked when I made the macro. It's just showing the default wrapped package icon. Not a huge deal really, but it could become very annoying if I were to make several custom categories.
I am getting "ghost"-tooltips when I use Autobar together with tekKompare.
I have TipTac, tekKompare and Autobar installed, and the tooltips are set to appear in the lower left corner of the screen. And that's where it appears. But I also get 2-3 empty tooltip frames somewhere in the middle of my screen. A bigger one and 1-2 smaller ones, which looks to me like something tries to create item-comparison tooltips. I have not been able to track down when it starts happening. Usually not right after startup, but after some time playing, the start appearing, and from then on, I get them for each and every button of autobar.
No idea if Autobar is to blame or tekKompare. Problem seems to go away when I uninstall tekKompare, but, well, it also goes away when I uninstall Autobar. ^_^*
Toadkiller: is there ANY way to incorporate the prior version's graphic drag/drop menu? It was so much easier to use, and I find that I cannot add items that aren't already on the list to any bar. I would dearly love to see the original configuration interface for this mod once again ...
Quest items are not updating on use. Icons switch but when click the button it will always try to activate the previous quest item that was on the button befor the button update switch to the new quest item in the list. hope that wasnt to confusing.
Thanks again for all your hard work and sharing your mod with the community.
Is there a way to make a macro that uses whatever Air totem is the active one, pressing again casts Earth, again to cast Water then again to cast Fire? Pressing again casts Air again, and so on and so forth.
It doesn't have to reset at any time, just cast whatever is next on the list, like if I had done it with a /castsequence, but instead of a list of spells it's a list of buttons to use?

The automation you describe is possible out of combat. For in combat I could theoretically make a button that rotates the casts but it will not check for existence etc so you will waste a lot of mana.
I have been leveling my shammy lately and I am not seeing the issue with recasting whatever totem is not up at the moment. Especially if you bind keys to the buttons, although I have been manually clicking like a noob. On the other hand it would simplify the process of recasting in a new location.
So bottom line is I think something like this makes sense as well as a button to recall the old totems.

If you don't have the latest version of TipTac, that may be your problem. There were some screwy anchoring situations prior to the latest version.

Did I make sense?
http://code.google.com/p/autobar/wiki/Usage describes how to click a button from a macro. As for doing it in a rotating sequence, you would have to research that here http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/board.html?sid=1&forumId=11114
I do not recall there being a clicksequence.
The automation you describe is possible out of combat. For in combat I could theoretically make a button that rotates the casts but it will not check for existence etc so you will waste a lot of mana.
