Anyone else getting doubles? For example, bandages. Heavy netherweave is on the bar, but it's also in the pop-up, with netherweave bandage on top of it. So.. the items on the bar are also included in the pop-up.

3.00.00.04 alpha (r616)
-- Tooltips
-- Inscription and Milling added to crafting button
-- Fixed Curse of Elements, Curse of Tongues, Curse of Weakness
-- Removed Curse of Shadow
-- Fixed invalid tooltip link error for shuffle buttons
Known issues:
-- Arrange on use not working
-- Yes there is an extra popup button. This is deliberate and here to stay for all rearrange on use buttons. The benefit will be that they will rearrange even in combat.
-- I still need to make LibKeybound work again with AutoBar + BT4
-- Critter Button mia
-- Fadeout mia
-- At this point I see no way to provide tooltips for mounts / critters on a non-action button.
r630
-- Focus Magic
-- LibKeyBound calls fixed. You should once more be able to bind keys in KeyBound mode (alt-click on the AutoBar button)
-- Remove "doubled" buttons when the Button is not Arrange on Use.
Please do report all missing spells buffs & whatnot. The only ones that are going to automagically get added are druid ones.
I added basic Death Knight support. For actual spells and buffs please do make suggestions and requests. I will not be playing one further than the opening intro and talking to that guy in that place till about 22 days from now.
I'm currently using the following macro for mounts:
/use [flyable] Ebon Gryphon; Great Green Elekk
Would something like that be possible to add to autobar? I can manage with the current setup, just that automatically having flying mount show up in flyable zones is cool
Will you be adding the ability to drag and drop skills directly to new spots on the autobar bars at any point?...Being able to put macros into autobat would be way cool

I will make sure that stuff works again today. The google code link below has instructions for creating custom macro buttons, starting with making a custom category with your custom macro in it.
r632 (alpha release)
-- Make "Show Tooltip" work again.
-- Popup on Shift (requires relog / ReloadUI). Button specific setting only.
First cut at Popup on Shift. It requires reload so people without this setting have no impact on resources required.
Limitations:
-Only shift key is supported.
-Setting is specific to particular buttons.
-Requires reload
The reload part may get fixed if an api for reparenting frames was added while I was not looking. (And not via headers either, that seems like a lot of overhead).
Ctrl and Alt or a combination of the three can be added if needed. Does anyone need a key other than shift supported?
This version makes it a per Button setting. Is this correct? Do you want it set for the entire mod? Per Bar?
Hi.. an odd little problem that's been around for a while - def not connected with the latest patch fixes. Just that I can't re-order my mounts/summon demon buttons. Put the mount button on the right hand side of the summon button every session, log out correctly.. not saved.
Just a small one to add to the list of not very important bugs. :)
I'm playing a shaman in the beta and i'm using the wotlk verison. I used to use numen (which doesnt work in beta atm), which is basically just autobar for shammies.
My problem is when in click on a totem other than the one already on my menu bar the menu bar doesnt change to the new totem i clicked. On numen i could click on a totem and until i used another totem that one stayed up as my hotkey totem.
Hope i'm making sense here ;)
Oh and btw... i have ticked on the show tooltip info, but i dont get any?
I'd like to say this would make me start using Autobar. I used Numen and Poppins (both dead now it seems) for totems over the past year and the features to:
1) Right Click in the poppup to cast without putting it on the non-popped bar and
2) Click in the poppup to put it on the non-popped bar
are both very important to shaman totems. #2 to help get the ones you are going to be using over and over on the main bar so you don't have to go into the poppup all the tine and #1 so I don't have Mana Tide drop down to the main bar and have to go back into the poppup to get Mana Spring back down.

Right click / some kind of modifier click to cast a popup without switching it is on my todo list. It is a little tricky now because there is a self cast modifier, a focus cast modifier, and autobar provides a right click self cast as well.
Do you want this as a global setting, bar setting, or individual button setting? I am inclined to do it mod-wide because I need it for hunter stings and traps as well.
By the way, if your mouse has buttons 3, 4, 5, you can use those to click a popup and get it switched into the anchor button without casting. So perhaps those extra buttons should be choices for this as well.
Meanwhile, the button switching now happens during combat as well, so it is not the end of the world if you get into combat with the wrong "default" button.
I also want to do some ordering for some popups. Either by just bubbling last used up to the top, saving x number of most popular ones used, or explicit reordering on the popup using modifier keys or something, perhaps during move buttons mode or something.
...I can't re-order my mounts/summon demon buttons... :)
Weird. Please make an issue on the Google page and include your saved variables so I can take a look at them please. Or if you zip it up you can include it here.
...there is no range coloring for abilities available...
part of the core rewrite will be to act a lot more like the blizzard bars. This will include adding blizzard style range indicators / feedback to buttons that need them. The upcoming heal / harm buttons will definitely need it.
...I was using an ancient version up until the 3.0 patch hit (as the old configuration was about a billion times better than the new version imo) but that's completely broken with the patch...I'd really love if someone took the ancient version and update it, as I haven't been a fan of the newer version (and I'm not alone). Just getting ANY working version would be win right now tho.
Damn straight. There was some good stuff in the old custom UI. I totally agree with the new config UI sucking. I switched to it to make the BC conversion easier. It totally worked right up to the part where I ran into hard intractable problems with the way ACE2 dealt with configs and custom editing components for the config. The impossibility of adding basic drag and drop sucked supremely. Unfortunately I was late to the party with Ace3 and it has no native solutions either but the devs promised it could be extended.
I have been sitting on the fence between going Ace3 vs Rock ever since. Meanwhile I started shifting a lot of the config back into the mod itself. For instance you can set up a button with a custom category and just drag and drop items to it (this is probably broken at the moment till I fix it for 3.0). Instead of using clumsy sliders or whatnot to reorder them in the config UI, you can just do the same thing directly in Move Buttons mode.
On the other hand I could just use the native Blizzard panels. They suckalot though because they are not resizable. I despise nothing more than somebody thinking its ok to make a UI that uses exactly 1/8 of my 30" Apple monitor's screen and giving me no way whatsoever to resize it. Every single Blizzard interface that makes me scroll a tiny window to see stuff I would see in its entirety if only it was resizable is also an interface I have a mod for or dearly wish I could get one for.
...Too bad it's still this bloated new-fangled version...what is the possibility someone might pick up the old skool Autobar for those of use that liked the simple interface without all the bloat?...
I need you to be specific here. It sounds like you want something pared down to just a few buttons? If that is the case then you can just disable all the bars, create your own bar, and drag all the exact buttons you want to it. You can even just have it have the 6 original buttons it had when I first took it over from Saien. (I think 6, might have been just 4). Nobody would even think ill of you if you included the Quest button without telling us.
Not sure if someone has mentioned this, don't really feel like sifting through 212 pages of posts this early in the morning. But, Firestones and Spellstones need to be added to autobar's itemlist. You can add to create them on the bar, but can't add to apply them to your weapon.

Google is your friend! If Google does not find it with a "search on this site" setting then its as good as not here.
These and the food items will debut in the next release.
Nice to see you have a sense of humor so early in the morning!! Or so late ,depending where you are. :D
Hah, thanks Fred. I must say its a lot easier to be cheery for 3.0 than 2.0. 2.0 crushed the API's AutoBar needed. 3.0 has restored them. I am totally happy with it.

i have noticed, that there is no range coloring for abilities available. Would this be possible in AutoBar?
Keep up the great work!

Dammit, I thought I tested that back on PTR. Haha major egg on face in the UI & Macro forum ;-p
