I could be wrong, but there seems to be a simple solution around the "can't buff in combat" issue. I know that you can change a macro while in-combat and it take effect (I have a few bound to my actionbar and changing them in-combat works fine), so why not have the mod use a macro slot to put it's next castable buff into and then have the bindings for mousewheel or whatever just point to the macro? I'm sure there's some secure-frame issue that I'm overlooking, but figured I'd toss it out anyway.
I'm afraid you are wrong. The macro system is all protected functions, hence can't be programatically changed in-combat. You can do it via user input in-combat because you're using the WoW secure UI.
Any chance in having blessing manager update the talented buffs for paladins with pallypower in the raid if they respec after joining the raid? The only way I can seem to get it to update is a /reloadui
It works for ZOMG becuase ZOMG users send an addon message to other ZOMG users informing them of a talent change, then anyone interested (ppl running the manager) do a re-query and it updates.
PallyPower does none of this, and neither is it possible to detect when someone else changes their talents without constantly checking them. The simplest solution is to get them to hit their refresh button which should re-send all their talent info out.

Also if someone whispers me !buff -xxx +xxx while blessing manager it would be nice to have it update if I already have blessing manager open.
SmartBuff can auto buff in combat. As a frost mage, I greatly appreciate the ability to just wiggle my mousewheel to toss up an Ice Barrier.
True, true. And this is the ONLY function I miss from switching over from SmartBuff. It would be the perfect addon if in-combat buffing became available. :)
I know jack-squat about programming addons, but have you examined the code for SB, by chance, to see how that addon works around it?

Oh I know how it works, that's not a problem. But for a lot of people it'll cause issues, which was my main reason for not including something like it in the first place. For example, I'm a habitual mouse scroller. I change camera view a lot, and to have a buff on that would just be silly. But I'll consider it and see what the best approach is for ZOMG.
A request regarding mages dampen magic and amplify magic
Not sure ill ever use it it, but better to ask for it now and not use it than wanting to use it and not be able to
Anyway it seems i can only select either dampen og amplify magic for buffing on the raid, however there might (again not sure where) be a situation where some ppl in the raid 'needs' amplify and some 'needs' dampen. At the current setup its no possible.
Could you make it so its possible to activate both and select who gets what?

I do too, and I've never found it an issue when using SmartBuff. Since using ZOMGB, I've bound my Ice Barrier to my "i" key (how original, eh) but find it vastly more irritating to have to reach for "i" than to just wiggle my mouse wheel.

A valid point. Can't believe I'd not considered it. And a bit of a pain to get working. :)

I just recently did a little LUA surgery on SmartBuff to make it so that my zoom function is shift-mousewheel and my buff function is just the mousewheel. Perhaps you could code it the opposite for yourself, for example. That way, if you're changing views a lot, you're not buffing, but you still have the option to hold shift and give that little roll to rebuff. Might be a decent option.
Is anything known regarding issues with other addons? I've got a lot of addons and I've tried turning them off (in overlap) to figure out which is giving me the problem, but I keep getting a blocked from an action only available to the blizzard UI-error every time I try to use the buff key. :(
One of my alts has no issues with the addon, with exactly the same addons enabled (using the addon-manager addon to create a profile, and loading the profile on my main, so I'm sure it's the same addons). I have also deleted the ZOMGbuffs lua files in my main's folder, but no sigar.
Hi !
Just tried this addon to replace olddated Fubar_Remindpoison, can I suggest the following adjustments for the selfbuff part ?
1. Check for enhanced Chamy in group, if there is, do not propose to put poison on Main Hand, could be an option
2. Do not propose to poison my fishing pole ^^
Thanks !
I haven't been able to try the pally management thing, but sure will :)
I can use the auto-buff for my own buffs (righteous fury, and the intelligent Crusader aura when I'm mounted) but I can't for the life of me figure out how to use the scroll wheel to throw up greater/lesser blessings, whether I'm solo, partied, or raided... I just spent about 1/2 hour in game. The right-clicking on the anchor works but I was really hoping I could just absent-mindedly buff with the scroll wheel, especially the crazy people requesting custom blessings when I'm the only paladin in the raid.
What am I missing?
-- Also, stealth might be a reasonable candidate for self-buffs. I wouldn't mind entering stealth via the auto-buff.
-- I finally got into an instance and it works great there... it didn't work when I was solo, or partied but far from my group. I was in A52, partied with someone in Shatt; no scrollwheel buffs for me. I was in a Magister's Terrace party and it worked like awesomesauce and even buffed the hunter pet with a 10minute buff. Dunno what the difference is.
-- I honestly don't know what I was missing, but it's working fine now. It's working now with the exact same profile, while I'm solo, etc. Maybe because it was my first loading with it? No clue.
I've been having some trouble in Alterac Valley. I'm using an all-Kings blessings template but sometimes it will just not Autobuff me and the people around me if we've lost our buffs partway through AV. I can click to re-buff people manually in the popup list but the Autobuff doesn't do anything, like it think we're all still buffed. I'm pretty sure I was out of combat, etc.
I didnt read thru all 24 pages but would like to ask for the ability to buff on target if target is friendly.... and another siwtch to ignore/buff pvp flagged targets.
Oh and also ther ability to turn the timer off on the floating tracker button because omnicc is also putting a timer on the button.
And also the ability to lock the tracker button and Button facade support would be nice ;-P
Thanks for all your help and sharing this mod with the community. So far it is a pretty nicely done mod great job.
I love this mod but have a few issues I just can not figure out.
when I am playing my druid the Self buffs do not include thorn, or Gift of the Wild. It has Omen of Clarity, Tiger's Fury and Barkskin the last two I am not concerned about. How do I add Thorn and Gift of the Wild to my Self auto buffs?
On my mage I selected learn for Fire Ward (I was doing some PvP) and now Fire Ward has been added to my auto buff and will not come off. Is there a way to disable fireward from trying to buff?
If these have been answered in the previous post I apologize I did not read all 23 pages.
i run with a mixed crowd of ppl that use pally power and zomg, (mostly pp), and i was wondering if you could set zomg to prefer putting assignments for players with either zomg or pp, as some of the pallys refuse to download it...

Mmmm, it should do that already..

Consider it done.

Perhaps a toggle option? "Buff in combat".
