Im pretty sure this is some conflict with another addon - however i have no clue whixh one it is
anyway im getting this error when logging in (on my GF's comp the problem isnt there, guess i have more addons than she;))

oh yeah the tooltip of the button reads "Not refreshing because you have recently zoned, please wait a few seconds" and stay like that for a very long time
ZOMGBUffs understand that some buffs are mutually exclusive. Warlock armour spells and Shaman weapon enchants are working great in this respect. However this logic isn't working for Shaman elemental shields. Rather than showing up as a single ability 'slot' where you can choose which buff you want to use it's possible to enable both Lightning Shield and Water Shield and you will constantly be reminded to rebuff whichever one you don't currently have. Things get even more fun when you add in Earth Shield as now you have three buffs only one of which can be active on you at once while ZOMGBuffs keeps telling you to buff the other two =) Since this is working for some abilities already should be possible to fix this?
Also the Warlock spell Detect Invisibility is completely missing from the available buffs for that class.

After extensive searching i have found it to be Pitbull conflicting - more specific the RaidTargetIcon part of pitbull - if I disable that i dont get the error - please fix :)
1) If a new paladin is added to the raid and the buff assignment is regenerated, it is possible that an "older" paladin gets a completly new set of blessings.
I understand that the constraints (ImpBoW/ImpBoM, same blessings to same paladin...) will give some of the assigned blessing of one paladin to another, but it shouldn't change the "row" for an old paladin.
Example: There are two paladins 1 and 2 in the raid that cover the two highest priority buffs. paladin 1 has blessing assignment a and paladin 2 has blessing assignment b. Now paladin 3 enters the raid. Buff assignments a', b' and c are generated. a' and b' are somewhat similiar to a and b, while c covers mostly new third priority buffs. Now c should always be given to paladin 3 and the assignments for paladin 1 and 2 remains as close to their originals as possible.
Heh. If you had any idea how complicated the generating of assignments was, you'd not ask this :)
I know what you mean, but the logistics for this atm are too complicated. I do plan on re-writing the generator at some point. There's some things that it should do that it just can't atm and maybe this will be one of it's new things, but it's not something I can do atm.

2) The buff tracking doesn't always work. For example even if there are unbuffed raid members which are in groups that I assigned myself to, they will no be buffed. This even happens with the whole raid in range and out of combat. The buff icon also doesn't indicate any activity that would prevent tracking (drinking, shapeshifted...). If I hover over the icon it will eventually get updated and tells me to buff.
Quite possibly this is due to the odd roster bug which I'm working on a fix for. See how the newer version I post later today behaves.
Quote from Marek »
3) Similiar to 2), if someone with a missing buff is tracked but buffed by someone else, the tracker isn't updated and still reminds me to buff.
I'll see what it's doing, it should be catching that.
Quote from Marek »
And two more questions:
1) I am not a paladin but want to do the blessing assignments for them. If a raid member whispers me with "!buff -bok +bom" will it be propagated to the appropriate paladin or not?
Yes it will. As long as you are promoted/leader.
Quote from Marek »
2) As a feral druid I would switch myself between tank and melee dps in the blessings manager. Can this have a severe impact on the paladin buff assignments? Worst case would be that all paladin get a completly new blessing assignments because might and salv are moved around. Best case would be that light->salv is changed for a specific paladin.
Better to not change your role, but to just override your 1 exception, either via the manager right click on cells, or via the /whisper !buff chat interface. In general, it's best to only Generate templates at start of raid, just to avoid overriding some exception someone needs on a per-raid-basis.

Nah, was nothing to do with Pitbull, or any mod. Was rare case when a unit is 'Unknown' as you log in for a short time. Working on a fix for it atm.
I have had a recent issue where ZOMG insists that my character is resting, and so refuses to do anything.
Oddly, it thinks I'm resting, even in the midst of dungeons while in combat with other things.
My current fix is to manually toggle the addon, but I suspect that the addon is not behaving as desired.
It thinks your resting when the WoW API returns 1 for IsResting(). Simple as that really. There's not a whole lot I can do about those rare cases when a WoW bug pops up. You are quite free to turn off the Not When Resting option. Other than that, there's not a thing I can do about it.
I love this Interface enhancer but there are a few things I can not figure out, or maybe I just do not understand how it works.
1) The bars that have my timers only show up when I move my cursor over them. Is there some way to make them display all the time. I can not seem to figure it out. All I get is the basic button until I move my cursor over the button.
2) The type on the bars is quite dark and I have trouble reading it. Is there a way to change the type color to something that shows up better?
If I could just figure those two things out I would be a happy camper.
1) The bars that have my timers only show up when I move my cursor over them. Is there some way to make them display all the time. I can not seem to figure it out. All I get is the basic button until I move my cursor over the button.
The whole point was that it didn't take up valuable screen space, and I don't plan on changing that behaviour without very good reason.

It's meant to be darkened. If it's bright, then that person is missing one of your buffs, if you're a buffing class.
I was forbidden from ever using ZMGB during a raid again. It kept resetting the assignments set by the paladin lead via PP, which royally pissed him off. If we hadn't been in hyjal, with me being the guild prot pally, I'd have been close to getting booted from the raid.
I understand that you feel ZMGB should be the master tool for configuring buffs, but it would be nice if it at least played well with PallyPower taking charge. :(
I was not complaining...."or maybe I just do not understand how it works.". I am just trying to figure out how to use this tool better. When one is use to seeing things one way and then something does it entirely differently it can be a little hard to picture the thought process and advantages of those changes.
I certainly agree that there are toooooooo many things vying for my screen space. I had noted that even when the bars are visible ZOMG has a nice small foot print. So the idea is one moves the cursor over the button to see what buffs are up? Or maybe as I am using it now a sound goes off & I just click the button until all the due buffs are back up. I guess that moving the cursor to the button when the "alarm" sounds does provide the full information. As I understand it now, the bright bars are more visible so I know what needs to be refreshed. I guess I have been running to the button and clicking it so fast that I have not seen the bars up long enough to actually see what information is there.

After re-checking this, there was a hole in the comms from PP to ZOMG. This is now fixed. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
I've steered away from adding Cooldown based spells to the rebuff modules. Can you think of a good reason to not keep it that way?
Well with combustion at least there is never I time I don't want it up, if cooldown is over then I need reminding of that :)
I will admit that could blood is a little different and I would probably only use it as needed but what about the priest one, I think its called Inner Fire or something. There would never be a time that a priest who used it didn't want it up. I'm sure there must be others as well.

Inner Fire is a buff, it's on there. I'll add Combustion, cos it's an unlimited duration buff affecting further spells.
I remove every module except "ZOMGBuffs_SelfBuffs", and I only use it to buff myself with Thorns, OOC and MotW. I have to add:
{id = 26992, o = 1, duration = 10, who = "self", c = "80A0FF", noauto = true}, -- Thorns
{id = 16864, o = 2, duration = 30, who = "self", c = "80A0FF", noauto = true}, -- Omen of Clarity
{id = 26990, o = 3, duration = 30, who = "self", c = "80A0FF", noauto = true}, -- Mark of the Wild
...every time you update the mod. Any chance you can add those as Self Buffs please?

Does that mean that ZOMG will honor buff assignments from PP and that it won't override them? I ask because I had a similiar experience to Daelic, where ZOMG changed the assigned blessings without hitting broadcast or generate. However this happened on Monday and I was reluctant to open the blessing manager again after that.
What I did:
1. Generate and broadcast a specific assignment at the beginning of the raid.
2. A paladin used PP to set up another assignment.
3. Whenever I closed the template editor with "Finish" to see the assignment window, it briefly showed another buff assignment (possibly the one the paladin made with PP) which quickly changes to another assignment (I assume one generated by ZOMG)
I will take a look again to see if the blessing manager still behaves aggressive. If you don't hear from me again, it did and the paladins killed me for messing up there blessings ;)
At the moment all I would like to do is test the automatic blessing assignments and the interface itself without risking a broadcast just by opening the manager (I usually have assistent or lead for marking, ready checks and so on)
And one more thing: Is it possible to exclude learnable buffs from group assignments?
Basically I put Thorns on learnable and buff all tanks. The problem is that missing thorns are only detected for groups that are assigned to me, but with tree druids buffing GotW I don't want to assign myself to any group.
I still had a case yesterday (version 70071) where I was told by the tracker to buff a group with GotW that was already buffed (the group was mostly buffed with MotW and at least one buff was done directly without the tracker). I will keep an eye on it to provide a reproduceable pattern for it.
I'm not sure if this was recently added, but I have noticed the blessings manager now allows dragging of individual blessings icons from one paladin to another paladin. This is a nice addition, making it easier for me to rearrange which paladin gets which blessing assignment per class. But one thing it doesn't do, is it doesn't move the exceptions along to the new paladin when I drag it around.
Another thing I do like the generator to do, like i said last time, is to prioritise giving greater Salvation over instead of giving it an exception. Apart from the case of a DPS warrior and maybe a Feral where they would want a small salvation, in most other cases (for all hybrid, non tanking classes) I prefer to give the DPS spec a greater Salvation over say, giving a healing spec a greater Wisdom. Salvation dropping mid fight for a DPS is more breaking compared to a healer losing his Wisdom mid fight. Over a course of a fight, someone with say wisdom may only regen enough mana for maybe 2-3 extra casts, while a DPS losing a -30% threat is almost effectively a 30% DPS loss if he's riding the threat meters already.
I'm not sure how the generator is setup, you did say the generator tries to make it so to minimise people with having to assign fewer smaller buffs as possible. But in 10 man situations, chances are there is only 1 of each spec per class, say only a Resto shammy and a Elemental shammy. In this case I want the generator to give the Elemental a greater Salvation, and the Resto the smaller Wisdom. Currently in these cases all hybrid DPS always gets a smaller Salvation, and every raid I have to manually change them around.
maybe often when im unbuffed and i begin to channel a portal ( like a mage food table portal or a soulwell ) the addon will auto-cast on myself one of my buff
wich will cause me to break the portal and to force the caster to summon another time the table (or soulwell) :(
I remove every module except "ZOMGBuffs_SelfBuffs", and I only use it to buff myself with Thorns, OOC and MotW. I have to add:

...every time you update the mod. Any chance you can add those as Self Buffs please?
No. Because I'd have to do lots of special case coding to make the two modules behave properly together and not try to buff the same things over again. For the sake of a very tiny amount of memory, I'm really not going to get into this.
